Wednesday, April 6, 2016, beginning at 7:00 PM EDT, GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Bethpage, NY at Grumman Studios. With two weeks to go until the New York primary on April 19, this will be Mr. Trump’s first campaign event in his home state of New York.
Bethpage is a hamlet located on Long Island within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, United States, as well as a census-designated place with borders slightly different from those of the hamlet. Population: 16,429.

That could be. Trump was supposed to meet with Manafort in NY yesterday, so possibly the schedule changes are an outcome of that meeting.
Although I’m a fifth generation Texan, and have never even traveled outside Texas, I have no ‘Texas’ or ‘Southern’ accent’ at all. I have no idea how that happened. None- unless it was growing up adoring and watching classic movies where the characters were often without an accent of any kind. I may have tried to pattern my speech after them from an early age. Who knows?
At any rate, no one can ever identify where I came from by my speech. Strange. No?
People meeting me for the first time often remark, ‘you’re not from Texas, are you?’
Somehow I find this a tiny bit hurtful, as I am very proud of my state- as anyone can tell by reading my lengthy bio. lol :)
It appears that the GOP is not controlling a puppet with DJT. He will challenge him strongly. AND this business of Preibus stating that no one getting over 50% in NY.. whoa.. that surely turned The Donald to action
That is very interesting news. I know that Trump met with his newer-hire Paul Manafort yesterday who worked for Reagan and is considered the best and most experienced “delegate-getter” in the business. I have heard very little about the outcome of the meeting. Speculation is that Cory L. will still maintain the title of Campaign Manager, (very close to Trump), but the circle of influence/accessibility to Trump will expand as the campaign is need of changing gears in order to clinch the nomination. Chances are we may see big changes in how the campaign is run. Cancelling California and going to Washington is a big development.

I LOVE your homepage! fun stuff. Nice kitty collection you’ve got there! When I lived in NC I Had a cat house! Bred Exotic shorthair and persians. Had one chinchilla. Now have a collections of ferals.. that rather live here but are terribly afraid of me. Didn’t get my first dog til I was over 50!

I’m not comfortable with the machines either, but I like them better than we have - they went to all vote by mail in WA state a few years ago, just like OR.

I agree that Trump needs to get back on the trail in NY, I’ve read there are some areas he may not be as popular. Maybe spend some time in Harlem, or they’ll probably go for Hillary since Bill has/had an office there. But, Ben Carson went there and people often say that the Pubbies never campaign in AA districts.
Fox just said that Cruz is at a Christian school by Albany - approximately 1k expected.
It made me wonder, once again, if these clowns simply aren’t paid trolls, here to repress enthusiasm (and discussion) of Trump and (if they’re lucky) get an utterly unelectable candidate (that would be Cruz) in the “R” column.

The reason all these politicians and RNC, DNC are so arrogant is because they can rig the outcomes.
You can’t even have the machines inpected the day before because they can always get to them before the morning of the next day.
It only takes a second to stick one of those cards in the vote counters.
