Well, this is interesting. Under a new rule adopted by the Pennsylvania GOP in 2015, the 54 delegates elected from Pennsylvanias 18 Congressional districts (3 per district) are unbound and can vote for any candidate they choose.
Salena Zito and Tom Fontaine report:

"All 54 of Pennsylvania's delegates unbound on 1st ballot we called to see where they stand" [snip]
In other words, the popular vote never really matterd in Pennsylvania and it was always a delegate game:

My God in heaven. Do you really, truly think Cruz has a chance of winning the presidency??
Wow.
“Thats 32% of less than half the electorate, so maybe 15% support him at a voting level.
Im sure many really love him too, but he has also angered and alienated a good portion of the conservative voting bloc as well.”

And Cruz hasn’t come close to Trump’s numbers. So by your logic, Cruz is in an ever worse spot. haha
The article quotes two of the delegate candidates as being Trump supporters.
I know of a third, Joe Sacco, running in my congressional district, the 4th.

I’m newly a PA resident. When I got to vote on the 26th, will the candidates’ names even be on the ballot, or just a list of delegates?
If the later, how do I know which support my candidate?
As for civility, those that think Trumps rude or too abrupt likely havent spent much time in corporate America
<><><><>
OK, name 5 Fortune 500 CEOs that talk like Trump out in public. Who do the ‘I’m great, you all suck’ routine.
You see, that’s the difference, around the board table, things are very frank (which is quite different from intentionally rude). Trump is often intentionally rude, and while that seems to work for him in his privately held family business, it is not a formula for success elsewhere (or you’d see more of it).
sCruz is a NWO mole, his campaign recieved $250,000.00 from Soros, has all the RINO republicans.
Ted will sCruz his followers. If he wins it means God has turned his back on America.
The PA GOP is an open sewer. They are the old Rockefeller liberal GOP, so naturally, the actual vote in PA is a sideshow, the bought and paid for delegates will do what they're told.
All you need to know is Arlen Specter.
He' the reason I'm an Independent.
sickening.
There was a long discussion about this on one of the channels last night as they were waiting for the returns to come in. They loosely compared the hunt for delegates to the Iowa caucuses. One commentator was saying state by state you have to meet with people, shake hands, woo them, and make sure they show up to vote for you, and just winning the primary was not going to be enough, especially if this becomes an open convention. Cruz’s people are doing that; Trump’s are not, at least not to the same extent.
There is a place to vote for your candidate for POTUS.
The winner of the popular vote statewide will have 17 delegates ‘bound’ to them on the first ballot.
But for the rest of the delegates you get a list of names-all considered ‘uncommitted’ with no connection to POTUS candidates mentioned on the ballot.
This is the trick system the party has used to get control of the delegates because the list usually includes elected GOP Establishment officials like US Congressman, State Senators, State Representatives, County Commissioners etc.
Those people usually win the slots by name recognition.
You’ll have to check the media for reporting, call the people yourself, get plugged into your candidate like I am on Cruz’s email list.
I may not vote Cruz or Cruz delegates myself because I do sense a rigging of the system against Trump.
I may vote Trump and then vote for any delegate candidates I can identify as Trump supporters which I have one in my congressional district to vote for.
You vote for up to three candidates in your congressional district.
“Cruz hasnt come close to Trumps numbers. So by your logic, Cruz is in an ever worse spot. haha”
Slightly worse. They’re in about the same spot right now, difference not enough to be meaningful.
I was addressing your comment that Trump has won the hearts of the people.
He hasn’t. Neither has Cruz.
When is the last time Cruz lead any conservative bill through the senate
and it passed the senate?
It is a rare presidential election that is not already decided by the time PA votes, so generally we just pick the people who should get to go to the party (convention). PA State Party doesn’t actually want their members to know anything - little information is written, and you practically need a personal invite to even know when the local committee meets. It’s like a secret club...
here's seven:
Steve Jobs
Linda Watchner
T.J. Rodgers
Jack Connors
Harvey and Bob Weinstein
Paul Kazarian
Before Tuesday I joked here that Trump would claim the Cruz cheated to win WI and his drones would follow.
That is funny!!! On to New York!
I think I worded that wrong. I don’t think Cruz is a Manchurian Candidate - I think Zero is. I don’t think Ted’s a communist. I supported him early on and even held out for a Trump/Cruz ticket. It’s the “fast-track” that is starkly similar: being groomed from age 4 or so, mentored by Texas party insiders from high school, insider turned outsider turned insider, etc. etc. To me (and I’m sure other people feel differently)- to me - it’s like Groundhog Day. It makes me uneasy. Same as Jeb! made me uneasy - same story with him.
