I'm finished with the Republican Party... Are you? (vanity)
5 April, 2016 | Me

I've only recently become a Trump supporter. I was leaning toward Cruz, but couldn't go with him when he decided to collude with the GOPe, fully knowing (I have to imagine) that there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hell they would pick him in a contested convention. It's obvious that the GOP has decided to self destruct. Their disregard for conservatives and their complete disdain for the middle and working class has turned my stomach.

I've turned in my membership. I'm finished for good with the Republican Party. I've decided to go Independant from this point forward, and I've gotten to,wondering...

...how many folks here have moved out too?

Well, the GOPe & Shrillary thank you—you are their dream come true.

Fortunately, you are in a TINY minority. Most of us will not flee from the fight and EMBRACE DEFEATISM as you have done. Good bye to you...we do not need “weak sisters” in our order of battle and you will not be missed.

As to your question, no, I will not abandon the fight ... I will “stand in the gap” with my fellow warriors. I guess it boils down to the fact that you are bolting just as we are FINALLY about to take the Republican Party back—no thanks to you and your defeatist compradres.

How many times have you quit the party?

If the performance of a chief executive in a business environment was a valid indicator of how he's perform in elected office, then Mitt Romney would be closing out his second term in office this year.

Donald Trump has been all over the map on almost every notable issue in politics today. That's because: (1) he's a real estate developer and an entertainment figure, not a public official; and (2) he probably has no basic moral principles that guide him on these issues.

Now that’s a great way to win over Trump supporters should Ted’s GOPe masters put him on the ticket after stealing it from Trump ... keep up the good work there ..

I agree, but Limbaugh had what I thought was a good take on this yesterday: Trump's shoot from the lip way stems more from the fact that he's not a polished politician. And I think that this lack of polish and care is what appeals the most to people who are tired of being told the poll-tested, pre-sweetened, bull-hockey talk for so long.

Didn't expect much out of Wisconsin. Most of Republicans have interest only in the establishment and Trump is not one. Too bad, they could have looked good instead of hard core GOPe.

I made that decision after 2010. Now I resent the party completely and am looking forward to its destruction. I was duped for 25+ years thinking the party and it’s candidates were working for my values. They weren’t at all.

I don’t think leaving is necessary because I do not see how it survives this election intact.

Trump is a Democrat. If you support him, who cares what your attitude about Republicans is?

Meanwhile, Cruzie and his Floozies cuddle up with the GOPe to try winning the White Hut.

I left the Republican party years ago. I’m ready for a 3rd party and I think after this election season, that time just might be here......jmho.

I’m out as well. I just retired to Florida and was excited to cast my first vote here. Apparently Trump winning an important state like Florida and other big states is meaningless to the party hacks. If my vote doesn’t count, I’m done.

There is NOTHING more conservative than stopping a permanent democrat/marxist voting majority and doing whats best for the people and the country. By virtue of Mr. Trumps position on illegal immigration he Trumps all others conservatism.

“I would ask you to consider maintaining your registration.
It gives you the maximum ability to mess with them. “

Well put.

I’ll be attending my local “delegate convention” end of this month, and will be letting whatever GOPe dopes are there what I think of them.

I was the same as you , but when I saw cruz with the establishment I switched.

It now shows me that the establishment does not care about our votes and to see some supporting the establishment on here sicken me. infact they take great pride in supporting the establishment.

Words on here could never explain how I feel over those people.

But will that fly in this "Kardashian Nation" we have today?

Trump only has himself to blame....cause he only listens to himself...several things he has done recently that were bad for him...

*he is predictable, so he can be baited...so you slam his wife....he WILL come back and slam Cruz’s...gotcha

*He should never have criticized a popular governor like Scott Walker in his home state..the people like him and for good reason...he kept his campaign pledges even when it meant taking on the unions

*Who whispered into his ear to say punish a woman if she gets an abortion....i’ve never heard someone say that..i was shocked
*His arrogance is hurting him...why else would he be interviewed by the enemy such as chris matthews..or so many other haters...u dont hillary doing that

Cmon Trump...wise up...get some good counsel...cause we need you...or we r toast

He needs to take a break...get some rest...and rethink things...wi
