I've only recently become a Trump supporter. I was leaning toward Cruz, but couldn't go with him when he decided to collude with the GOPe, fully knowing (I have to imagine) that there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hell they would pick him in a contested convention. It's obvious that the GOP has decided to self destruct. Their disregard for conservatives and their complete disdain for the middle and working class has turned my stomach.
I've turned in my membership. I'm finished for good with the Republican Party. I've decided to go Independant from this point forward, and I've gotten to,wondering...
...how many folks here have moved out too?
Do you think Jim Robinson is an idiot, too?
No I don’t. He also doesn’t seem as Cruz centric as you are. I was actually banned for a post that was interpreted as anti Trump. I emailed him an explanation of what I had meant and the mega zot was rescinded. Don’t think you know his mind. It is his to know and not mine to speak for nor is it yours.
I recently received a misleading ballot from the Ted Cruz campaign - showing me how to vote to free my delegate.
He’s a liar, a charlatan, and a fraud.
For that mailer alone, I will never vote for Cruz.
And if you think that the GOPe will let him be the nominee any more than they will Trump, you are a fool.
I don’t take the advice of fools.
Good posting, H!
Agree! ...Plus, whenever Trump is questioned about how he will accomplish one of his outlandish promised feats he has usually just said that he will select “smart” people to figure out the details.
Anyone else notice that the “smart” people he has chosen to manage his campaign are failing badly, while the Cruz campaign workers are correctly conducting the ground game to garner delegates?
I’m kinda excited. You are becoming like my own little troll. How often do I have to feed you to keep you following me around the board and freepmailing me?
Following the rules ain’t steeling. Trump isn’t anything special and gets no special treatment!!
Nothing wrong with that!!!
Well, if someone is going to vote a third party, THIS would definitely be the year............especially if they want to elect Hillary Clinton.
You are exactly right on all counts.
I understand some of the objection to the GOPe leadership, But Wisconsin has truly challenged the status quo and has adopted a conservative approach to government.
Yes it is easy to to blanket blame everyone in the Republican Party as GOPe, but the principles of limited government and individual freedom is alive and well in Wisconsin. Gov Walker as a conservative and not a self serving politician who stood up to the power structure that allowed the unions to control (and fund) the Democrat party and the legislature. He won and the people won.
He was able to do this because he was supported by a Republican legislature and the people of Wisconsin. We have a knowledgeable conservative group that has had to endure the union disruption of our capitol and the John Doe investigation. We are battle tested in Wisconsin. The law that passed Act 10 even benefited his opponent (and other democrats) Mayor Barrett of Milwaukee in balancing the city budget.
Most of us can see through the negative in your face bombastic contentious self serving behavior of Trump. Trump is Obama like in dividing us and appealing to baser behavior. Yes he is identified some significant issues but his approach is to stir up hatred and his solutions will most likely not be implemented or workable.
48% of females voted for Cruz as they saw through his behavior and negative comments about women (Trump has a 70% negative rating with women/ Clinton has a 60% negative).
Cruz is a true conservative that will work for limited government, reduce spending and allow states (in competition with each other) to provide better government. With less regulation which will provide economic growth and the creation of more jobs.
I hope Trump is accepting of 2nd place as we nominate Cruz to as the Republican nominee. Trump was certainly not a gracious loser last night. Trump only got 35% same as most states, but less candidates (3). Trump can’t get the majority of 50% needed. Trump is democrat/liberal lite, not conservative.
If Trump doesn’t get his way, will he try to destroy the Republican party?
We can either win as a united Republican Party and change to a more conservative leadership like Wisconsin did or allow the liberal/progressive/socialist party to continue to decline of our country.
For your information, Cruz did not change and become GOPe, but the GOPe leadership see Cruz as a better candidate than Trump.
There is a major difference in making large sums of money, and serving the public good in leading a country.
Just look at George Soros or Bill and Hillary Clintoon and the Clintoon foundation.
Let Trump do what he does well - build hotels and golf courses and let Ted Cruz with conservative values build a stronger America.
You get it. I just woke up late. But in hindsight it is pretty obvious that the treason has been going on for decades.
