Donald Trump wins this week's GOP Straw Poll in Delaware.
This week the Sussex County Republican Party held its Presidential Primary "straw poll" at the GOP Headquarters in Georgetown. While the turn-out was moderate, the results were very interesting.
Donald Trump won the poll with 72-percent of the vote; coming in second was Ted Cruz with 21- percent of the vote, followed by John Kasich with 7-percent.
The format and names on the Straw Poll ballots duplicated that of the sample ballot provided by the State Election Office in Georgetown. They included the names of Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, and Marco Rubio, but no one voted for those candidates.
County GOP Chairman Billy Carroll says he's very pleased by the enthusiasm and interest shown by the voters; he says Republicans are eager for the primary on April 26 and are ready to support the GOP candidate in November.
Lyin' Ted better enjoy Wisconsin while he has a chance!
Ron Paul won just about every straw poll in 2012.
A Delaware landslide is chipping a divot anywhere else ;o)
Oh this cannot be true, NBC says Trump’s support is collapsing.....
/sarc off
The northeast LOVES liberals.
Of course Trump will win Delaware.
In the primary.
Delaware. 16 delegates. Winner takes all.
One of the bluest states supports the NE Liberal.
Shocking.
After His Cruz LIE Was Exposed, Debunked, And Condemned By Coburn, Trump REPEATED It On Stage
What how can this be? I just read Trump is collapsing.
So does Wisconsin... Look at lying Ryan and the 'prince' of the GOPe.... snicker
Trump will recover from Wisconsin - may even pick up a few delegates- than finish The Cuban Mistress Crisis off on Northeastern Super Tuesday. A reported 170k Dems in Pa switched to Republican. Does anyone but a self delusional Cruz supporter believe any of them switched to vote for Cruz or do you think it is an operation Chaos?
Trump is 50 points ahead in New York State. Connecticut is still settling and we’ll see but closeness to New York and being in New England could help.
Delaware is 16 delegates and a good start.

I keep hearing that Cruz is going to sweep the rest of the states after Wisconsin and win the primary outright. Yet, polls show Cruz is getting spanked and the rebuttal is “liberal NorthEast”. But for Cruz to win, he needs to win the liberal Northeast. I guess Cruz isn’t sweeping anything, except after the primaries are over and he has to clean up his campaign offices.
Trump will pick up delegates in Wisconsin. The state is proportional, with the winner only taking most.
WISCONSIN is not winner take all But it does allow crossover votes which are not polled Could be interesting
“Coburn blames ‘Cruz effect’ for disappointment in Congress”
You can't tell me he didn't know about the National Inquirer lies.
...backfired big time.
“The northeast LOVES liberals.”
By your reasoning liberals rule the South.
