The Library of Congress is dropping the terms illegal alien and alien from its subject headings after a group of college students and the American Library Association protested the words usage.

Yep, we have to be politically correct. Even though these terms are factual descriptions of certain people, and are not intended to be pejorative, the liberals have decided thst these words are indeed pejorative.
From now on ‘undocumented Democrat’ will be used.
This is a criminal act.
New Speak.
Burning books comes next?
Thats okay, just replace the words with criminal.
well when Trump gets I seeing as he hates PC then he can change all this crap
2008 was the year 1!
yep when is the massive fires and school kids burning those books?
If you can’t even think with these words they can stop certain ideas, can’t they?
This is ridiculous. If “F-ck” became frequent enough to be a topic by some impartial measure, it should be. Let alone this.
And you say it’s libs who put thought second to feelings?
This is library science. This is not a playground for hating from either left OR right. There’s plenty of books that claim the topic. Keep it around, accurately.
Definitions
Arriving *alien* means an applicant for admission coming or attempting to come into the United States at a port-of-entry, or an *alien* seeking transit through the United States at a port-of-entry, or an *alien* interdicted in international or United States waters and brought into the United States by any means, whether or not to a designated port-of-entry, and regardless of the means of transport. An arriving *alien* remains an arriving *alien* even if paroled pursuant to section
212(d)(5)
of the Act, and even after any such parole is terminated or revoked. However, an arriving *alien* who was paroled into the United States before April 1, 1997, or who was paroled into the United States on or after April 1, 1997, pursuant to a grant of advance parole which the *alien* applied for and obtained in the United States prior to the *alien’s* departure from and return to the United States, will not be treated, solely by reason of that grant of parole, as an arriving *alien* under section
235(b)(1)(A)(i)
of the Act. (Amended 5/12/06; 71 FR 27585) (Revised 4/20/98; 63 FR 19382 ) (Added effective 4/1/97; 62 FR 10312)
This policy will be in effect until the muslims burn the library down.
"They mostly come at night. Mostly."
"What does?"
"I'm not allowed to say."
Morons. As long as “aliens” and “illegal aliens” continue to invade America, those terms will never go away no matter what a bunch of government employee bozos do.
And anyhow, how are all the books on green Martians arriving on flying saucers going to be found now?
I am amazed that librarians did this. This supposedly objective, if quirky set must really be under the thumb of the left now.
One of the early Donald EO’s is going to have to fix this.
Or, when librarians put out the “Silence” sign, how were we to know that it was meant for the whole world?
What’s the History Channel dude with the weird hair gonna do now?
He won’t have anything to talk about!
