Liberal actress Susan Sarandon is an outspoken Bernie Sanders supporter, but that doesn't mean she's wedded to the Democratic Party. In fact, she recently suggested that it would be better for Sanders' cause of "revolution" if Donald Trump were to win the presidential election in November.
In an interview with MSNBC's Chris Hayes on Monday night, Sarandon made an odd kind of endorsement for Trump. Hayes asked if Sarandon would "really" consider voting for Trump over Hillary.
"Really," Sarandon said, adding that "some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately if he gets in, things will really explode." Asked if she thinks that's "dangerous," she replied, "It's dangerous to think that we can continue the way we are with the militarized police force, with privatized prisons, with the death penalty, with the low minimum wage, threats to women's rights and think you can't do something huge to turn that around."
"I think, in certain quarters, there's growing concern that the folks that are into Bernie Sanders have come to despise Hillary Clinton or reject Hillary Clinton and that should she be the nominee, which is as yet undetermined, they will walk away," Hayes noted.
"That's a legitimate concern," Sarandon replied, adding that Sanders supporters would be unwilling to back Clinton in November "because they're very passionate and principled."
She insisted that Clinton does not believe in the things Sanders stands for. "What would make you think that when she gets in, she's going to suddenly go against the people that have given her millions and millions of dollars?" Clinton "accepted money for all of those people. She doesn't even want to fight for a $15 minimum wage. So these are people that have not come out before. So why would we think they're going to come out now for her, you know?"
In a general election between Clinton and Trump, Sarandon admitted, "I think Bernie would probably encourage people, because he doesn't have any ego in this thing." Nevertheless, she added, "I think that a lot of people are, 'Sorry, I just can't bring myself to [vote for Clinton].'"

The status quo thats allowed him to become a billionaire? No silly. He's a capitalist. He wants more of that. The status quo is unrelenting, unwavering socialist/communist thinking and actions in Washington PC and the country at large.

She knows that conservatives don’t like her and so she’s giving Trump a kind of endorsement in order to turn conservatives against him.

His platform is Consevative. Not being a politician, he hasn’t been labeled a Republican Conservative.
This allows Leftists to get beyond the label and listen to the message. Guess what, what he says makes sense to them.
Instead of being happy about that, some folks look at it as proof he is a Leftist.
No, it is proof that he can reach Leftists with common sense Consevative arguments.
Sarandon believes he is right about Syrian refugees. Is that a Leftist policy? Of course not. It is a reasoned Conservative policy.
We’ve voiced the desire to have a man that could do this for decades. Now that we have one, folks flip and dismiss him because it’s proof he’s a Leftist.
I don’t think some of us have any idea what Trump represents, or what they truly want, because he is what we have wanted.

In my neighborhood, there isn’t going to be any mischief.
It sucks to be a deer in my area. It will suck worse to be a thug(s) trying his luck. I am NOT the only person in my neck of the woods armed. The Walmart here is well stocked up on Realtree stuff.
Myself, I’m not really a hunter. I did recently upgrade from my old Navy-issued woodland camo items to the modern multicam.
If the Thug-Lives-Matter “Revolution” comes to my area, its going to be a real short Revolution here.
For my tastes, I got a real mix: AK47s for the boys, AR15s for the girls, and the FNH SCAR in 7.62x51 for me. Would be more than one green and red dot.

Whats wrong with these commies? Seriously talking about revolution still, like its 1969?
That is when they were young, rebellious and just starting their climb to fame, when they could sit on cannons in Nam - spitting on their country and be considered “cool”. Now their lives have become putrified with money and opulence and the guilt is so much to bear/s. Most could rescue small countries from poverty but don’t but prefer to stand on soap boxes and call for revolution because transgenders can’t go to the same bathroom as a woman. Some actress made 53 million dollars last year - AN ACTRESS! Something is definately wrong here. These liberal dorks want the country to be socialist so everyone has the same. What to share that 53 million, girlie?

Here’s my opinion: The country is too far gone to be saved by a “great President” (and I truly believe Ted Cruz is a great man and would be a great President.
This country is in dire need of a cultural flushing because Political Correctness is on the brink of doing to this country what the Nazis/Communists could not.
Trump’s abrasive, don’t give a d...n attitude is resonating because people are SICK AND TIRED of being ruled by people who saw “1984” as a how-to manual as opposed to the warning it was meant to be.
The only way we save THIS nation and civilization as a whole is to DESTROY Political Correctness which will allow us to solve the problems we are facing.

Crony capitalist Communists love those Trump is the most pro-capitalist, pro-America candidate to come down the pipe in the last 40 years. He's arguably more of a capitalist then Ronald Reagan. He's sure more of a capitalist then Ted Cruz. Washington hates Trump because he's going to bring capitalist principles to the government. He actually wants the government to make money. That means cutting out ALL the fat...you know...those employees that are hired and the things that are bought just because the idiots in congress budget them in..despite the lack of real money.
That's why he scares the crap out of Cruz and everyone else in the Washington establishment. They know a President Trump is going to derail their gravy train.

We sure do.
I don’t get the Clinton part (or Sanders for that matter) knowing how they backed Bill no matter what he did.
I do personally see her as pure evil, whereas he was a treacherous simpleton.

“Trump is the most pro-capitalist, pro-America candidate to come down the pipe in the last 40 years. “
Which explains why he’s so close with unions and democratic strongholds??????
He also wants to raise taxes and supports Universal healthcare. Saying the Govt should pay for it. “Business” doesn’t make you a capitalist and certainly not conservative. Look at Bill gates, Google and the myriad of other ‘businesses’ that support the progressive agenda. The richest people on Congress are Demonrats and most of them do it through “business” aka crony capitalism.
Talk is cheap. His actions for the last several decades tell a different story.

If Susan Sarandon can vote for Trump over Hillary, that tells you something about Trump. She must know hes a leftist at heart. Sarandon's obvious intent is to sour voters on Hillary with this comparison. That will ultimately benefit Sanders, not Trump. As long as that old commie is in the race, Susan will not be considering anyone else.
