Well, he did call the article “complete trash and utter lies” so I’d say that’s a denial.
I think that Cruz might have gotten past this depending on what else comes out if they had just said, “Oh it is just the Enquirer, what do you expect?” The media would have just ignored it as they had already signaled they were going to do. Instead they made a massive big deal out of it. Now everyone is aware of it, and everyone is looking at it very closely.
Saw the video and it was more like they were both about to collide and he deflected trying to stop her a moment so before they would go bonk. She never even saw him until he passed. So much for her observational powers as a reporter.
