Brian Jones and Gregg Giannotti of the CBS national radio show "The Gio and Jones Show" had an interesting back and forth on the city of Syracuse on Monday morning.
"You know the thing I don't like about them?" Giannotti said. "They say, 'We're New York's team. We're New York's team.' No you're not. You're not New York's team. You're Upstate New York's team. You're Central New York's team."
"New York City and like Central New York. It's a long way away," he continued. "It's not really this area. People talk differently there. They look differently there. It's sort of Midwestern. They look differently. They're all pale. They're zombie-esque. They've never see the sun. When the sun comes out they shrivel up. You've never seen whiter people in your life."

Leftists are truly the most racist class of people on the planet. We see this when they are unwittingly honest.
Exactly.
Just reverse it to see how objectionable it is.
Any simpleton can write. Only the wiser ones know when not to.
This is something that should not have been written, mush less published.
So they’ll be fired? Forced to attend “sensitivity classes”?
Syracuse Wikipedia-

And they certainly are not WASPs, when I went up there, almost everyone I met had a last name that ended in a vowel.
Yep, NYC "Values" don't play well upstate outside of the 'rat controlled urban utopias.
I try to tan, but it isn’t in the cards.
Absolutely, and one of the many reasons why I despise the left and Democrats so much. Worst of all they pretend to care for minorities — all to get their votes and be elected.
It's a nice tidy city, with lots of what were once called yuppie bars, antique stores, a monument to Christopher Columbus, an annual blues festival, and most recently, a mosque converted from a former Roman Catholic church.
White? Winter just ended and most people in the northeast look like Mister Stay Puft!
I’m curious how many Tourney teams fanbases at the games ARE NOT those Evil White People. I see a few sections sprinkled with black fans (often relatives of the players), Asians in the pep band and cheerleading squads.
And that’s pretty much it, folks. Maybe “media” types who think it should “look like America or New York” would not so much appreciate if whites just stayed home so that the attendance would be more to their idea of “Diversity”?
In other words, to nearly empty arenas. How safe are your media jobs then, you jerkoffs?
Attractive, intelligent, law abiding.
Why these two “tolerant” cats criticize their own network for having an all-black studio? Especially bigots like Barkley?
The racial hypocrisy in this country stinks to High Heaven. And I’ve heard Brian Jones make some questionable comments as a CFB analyst.
They are not white...they are Italian.
I grew up in Syracuse, have lived in Syracuse area all my life
I miss the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.
Well it snows and the sun doesn’t come out for 6 months out of the year there. What do you expect.
I went back there last year, and the downtown area was very depressing.
Well, there goes the neighborhood!........................
