Oh, dear.
Most of last week, American voters watched as two of the nation's Republican presidential contenders accused each other of insulting the other's wife and engaging in underhanded and inappropriate campaign tactics. And on Sunday, the start of a new week, the accusations continued to fly in both directions.
On various Sunday morning political talk shows, both Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz spoke about a National Enquirer story claiming that Cruz has engaged in extramarital affairs and allegations that both men had inappropriately launched or been involved in attacks on the other's spouse.

Can someone who saw these shows give a summary of Cruz’ defense against the accusations?
And when Cruz was asked if he would still support Trump if he is the nominee he said “Trump will not be the nominee”
How does he know that? Funny that he didn’t say he would be the nominee.
Cruz knows he won’t be the nominee at a contested convention. 500 delegates is too many for even him to steal.
Cruz and Walker and others are revealing themselves. The plan is to stop Trump from getting 1237. If he gets it cheat him out of it. Then Ryan (the convention chair) is asked to rescue the party.
At this point I’d sooner vote for Ryan the likes of Cruz.
Trump says he didn’t know about the National Enquirer story. Cruz says it is all “garbage” and denies all the smears from Trump. Cruz didn’t specify what he was talking about in any of the interviews. Think about it. Cruz refuses to answer any questions that ask about the specifics. He immediately diverts to attacks against Trump every single time, he won’t specify what “smears” he is denying.
The GOPe is using Cruz to force a brokered convention so they can shove another RINO down our throats, and Cruz is fine with that.
That’s the plan ...and it looks like it’s starting to work unfortunately
The last paragraph is the key to the naked Melania ad:
“Legally, campaigns cannot directly coordinate their efforts with outside super PACs, nonprofit organizations that do not have to disclose their donors.”
If it can be proved that Cruz violated this law, I wonder what sanctions he could face? Any legal beagle FReepers have any ideas?
What about the PAC sponsored event that he and Beck attended? The one where Beck issued the fake oath?
Trump’s taking Cruz as VP so he finessed the NE into releasing the mistress story in a controlled and controllable way.
For these phony political televangelists, the rules are for every one else. Just ask Jim Bakker.
At least both of them hate Coldplay /small solasce
A fictional conversation between Ted Cruz and Glenn Beck:
Beck modeling his new underwear: “I bet my underwear look better than your underwear!”
Cruz: “No they’re not!”
Beck: “Yes they are!”
Cruz: “No! My underwear ARE better than yours. Look! (he pulls down his pants) They have a pretty teddy bears all over them!”
Beck: “You don’t like my fluorescent hot pink magic underwear?”
Cruz: “NO! They make you look totally hypocritical. What are you going to do, direct traffic?”
Beck: “Look at you! You’ve taken that teddy bear thing down at the border too far! What are you going to do, give out teddy bear underwear?”
Cruz: “No! I think I will stick with the soccer balls!”

From the above article, dissected by former CIA deception experts :
...we were struck by the volume of deceptive behavior that we identified in these statements.
Behaviorally, when the facts are the ally of an individual, he or she almost always tends to focus on the facts of the matter at hand.
In this case, if the key fact was that he had not had these affairs, Cruz would almost certainly have been much more strongly focused on the denial. That is, he very likely would have made a point of explicitly stating something along the lines of, I did not have these affairs.
>>>>Ted never categorically denies having the affairs, does he?<<<<
Cruz does not defend he deflects. He looks guilty as hell. I’m waiting for “I have never cheated on my wife Heidi” to cross his lips. I doubt it will happen.
What???? That's it; I'm done.
It was Jeff Roe, Cruz’s campaign manager that obtained the rights from GQ to use the photo of Trump’s wife. Two days later it shows up in a Cruz Super PAC ad. Funny that the .super PAC did not license the photo. so, who gave it to the SuperPac to use. I am putting odds that it was Jeff Roe who gave it to them (of course without coordination). ;-)))
Cruz’s political deflection: “What gets swept under the rug stays under the rug.”
