National Enquirer Cruz infidelity story could cost Trump a prominent supporter
American Thinker ^ | 03/26/2016 | Thomas Lifson

Donald Trump has denied any connection to the National Enquirer story released yesterday claiming Ted Cruz has had 5 mistresses:

I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it.

Likewise, I have nothing to do with the National Enquirer and unlike Lyin’ Ted Cruz I do not surround myself with political hacks and henchman and then pretend total innocence. Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.

I look forward to spending the week in Wisconsin, winning the Republican nomination and ultimately the Presidency in order to Make America Great Again.

-Donald J. Trump

But that may not be enough for one of Trump’s earliest, most influential, and enthusiastic supporters, syndicated talk show host Michael Savage.

In a passionate 4-minute monologue, Savage said he had knowledge from a source he would “trust with my life” that the charges in the story were totally false. Savage also noted that he also has been attacked with innuendo over his entire career, and that “it is not pretty to live through this garbage.”

He stated that the Enquirer is run by a close friend of Trump, David Pecker, who flies on Trump’s plane, and that Pecker is behind the Cruz smear. He called on Trump to disavow the story and David Pecker, and threatened to withdraw his support if he doesn’t.

". . . still against federal law to transport a sex worker across state lines."

Only for the little people to do so. Look at Hillary, she's guilty of Treason and at least a dozen other Federal crimes. Based on nothing more than information that is freely available to anyone on the planet she can be indicted without any effort at all.

But like you say, those are Federal Crimes, nothing that the people living within the DC Bubble that extends into Maryland and Virginia need to worry about as long as they're Nobles or serve the Nobility.

There comes a point where you see a person is stubborn and will not accept that they have made the wrong choice.
It is like talking to a brick wall, you give links, facts, others do and the person still refuses to acknowledge anything give to them.
Thanks for the link.

We all know cruz cannot get enough delegates to get the nomination and he has not passed the rule 40.
Therefore common sense tells you that if you now vote for cruz you are voting for what the establishment wants, therefore common sense tells you that you are helping the establishment .

An establishment which cruz and voters would tell you they hated and wanted to fight. Now they are all the same and yet they won’t admit it because of their either stubborn attitude or being ignorant.

Wisconsin will be the beginning of the end for Trump.

That is why the fake scandal is breaking now.

Wisconsin is Ryan/Priebus home turf ... The GOPe will make sure Trump doesn’t win Wisconsin , just like they did in Utah ...hopefully they won’t make the ballot stuffing so obvious this time ...

RE: Cruz fell on his own sword. Sorry you are angry.

I don’t know what you mean by:

1) Fell on his own sword. You want me to jump into a specific conclusion when the full evidence is not even presented yet.

2) I am not angry at all.

I never invest myself in such a way that a candidate becomes my MAIN HOPE for America. There is no such person. The hope lies in the people and if the people are dumb enough to vote for the wrong candidate, they deserve everything they get.

Re; Apparently seek and find is part of the AmericanUnion group who wants
Open trade and no borders between Canada US and Mexico

______________________________

Actually SeekAndfind is part of a group that believes in FAIR TRADE, but I don’t think that repudiating a trade agreement we signed with Mexico and Canada is the solution.

I also do not believe that threatening China with 45% tariffs on their goods is the way to create jobs at home. In fact, history shows us that it makes matters worse for American consumers, especially those who have low income.

There are better ways to do it, and not supporting Trump’s solution need not and should not equate with Open Trade and no borders.

And BTW, Ted Cruz is for building the Wall too. See here:

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2016/02/04/ted-cruz-to-help-stop-drug-abuse-build-the-mexico-border-wall/

And I support that. How is this being part of a group that wants no borders?

Your problem is this — you equate anyone who does not vote for Trump to be a no border type of person. THAT Is a non-sequitur.

I did look for it. After an extensive search, the only source I could find for that claim came from here at Free Republic, which is why I asked. So either you have the source for that claim, or you do not.

RE: Why did his campaign manager buy it then?

The question still is — DID HE?

This “news” ( note the quotes ) came from a TWITTER post, not from news sources that by all accounts are eager to catch Ted Cruz’s campaign doing something dirty.

I’d like this prominently featured by CBS/NBC/ABC/CNN/FOX, Drudge, and other talk shows.

Then we’re talking.

Edit to add, why do we need to “buy” the photo when it is all over the blogosphere?

RE: Would the testimony of a sex worker he visited convince you.

It will if it can be established that she is telling the truth.

Otherwise, the above question would end up being like something similar to -— “Would the testimony of Anita Hill that Clarence Thomas sexually harass her convince you?”

if there were eight Anita Hills, it would not be enough for some folks...

There is none so blind as he (or she) who will NOT see.

Ted was a phony. It is clear. He was not just lyin’ he was lyin’ with DC ho’s not his wife...

all while showing us the supposed “face of God”.

barf.

One convincing Anita Hill would be enough.

So far, what we have are two women’s names and both DENY the stories. I’m still waiting for the names and testimonies of the other women.

SO, where’s the Anita Hill equivalent?

All the things you say you are for is part of the North American Union Is that really what you want. No Borders, unlimited immigration, unbalanced trade where american pay everyone else’s fair share and distribute the wealth to the poorer nations?

RE: All the things you say you are for is part of the North American Union Is that really what you want. No Borders, unlimited immigration, unbalanced trade

I wonder whether you read what I said. I said I support Cruz who is FOR building the Wall and is NOT for open borders. Heck Cruz even proposes a moratorium on H1-B visas until we can sort out how this is affecting our STEM graduates. Is that No borders? Is that unlimited immigration?

How is his attack on sanctuary cities and his support for the strict implementation of e-Verify an open borders thing?

I mentioned FAIR TRADE — how is that unbalanced? I have my personal idea of how to deal with China, but it is not Trump’s threat of a 45% tariff.

If you really want to know about Ted Cruz’s own policies I suggest you read it and go to the source instead of trying to take it from another source.

Here he is on border security and immigration:
