So you think it’s good for the President to be making the decisions on how to run a company like Ford?

It's not about "running the company", it's about saving American JOBS, "Brilliant".

I think that as a country, we shouldn't make it advantageous for our corporations to move across borders at the expense of our workers.

The government facilitates such moves by imposing high corporate tax rates and unfair trade policies. If our trade deals were indeed free, the agreements would be one page, not five thousand.

Trump doesn’t put the blame on the companies. He places the blame on government incompetence at the highest levels.

You idiot. When it comes to moving jobs out of America and then still sell the cars to Americans that do not have the money because of no job, what the hell is the matter with you.

Please read how Obama's man ran GM while they were in bankruptcy. Look up Obama' auto task force.

The US taxpayers lost over $10 billion.

Was George Washington telling American companies what to when he signed the Tariff Act of 1789?

From what I read, Trump never told them how to run their business, rather he opined, that alluding to IF he were President, he would incur a 35% tax for every transaction coming from that facility, at the time of the transaction.

No threat was made...but a warning was implied.

I don’t think Trump is the president. We have a kenyan currently filling that position.

I wouldn't call that running the company, maybe just trying to coerce "The Invisible Hand."

What decision is the President making for Ford? He’s in Cuba or Argentina right now.

The company is free to do what it wants, unlike GM when 0 took it over.

Do you not think it is good for the President to lobby for USA economic interests? Global corporations are no longer US corporations and they have no affinity to US interests. Times have changed and we need Presidents that grasp the need to change.
