They are losing credibility every day.....
Anything to kill the Blonde Obama and his Clown Posse.
Trump is a liberal, his follows have been fooled three times.
Carson came out and said that Trump and he had made a deal for a place in the Trump Administration if he would play ball with Trump.
Which by the way is a FELONY and both should be facing charges.
‘Not many agree but I still like my idea of having a same day (May or June) nationwide closed primary with an instant runoff ballot (voters rank the candidates, choices are eliminated until someone has a majority).
You are on the right track. It would unite the base. Here’s a way to streamline it ...
Only the Top Two should be in the runnoff vote. And delegates no longer need to be a part of the process. They would essentially be ‘score points’.
If an actual ballot is too expensive, only registered members of the RNC can vote.
A public vote. Secret ballots invite cheating. Voters can easily verify if their votes are counted correctly.
Just some thoughts.
There has been no "deal".
Looks to me that you have flushed out moral relativism in our own forum.
“Surely Trump would want Rubio’s delegates too.”
[Rubio is proven to be corrupt and should be in prison. So what a great ‘win’ here by Cruz.]
“Surely Trump would embrace those Establishment endorsements too.”
[The fact is that Trump hasn’t offered them enough. Self-evident.]

Cruz is allying with some powerful Establishment forces ...

The slander of Trump on being a latecomer to immigration sanity ...
[quote]
As far back as 2000, in his book, The America We Deserve, [Trump] condemned illegal immigration, said that illegals needed to leave the country, and insisted we should put the interests of Americans before those of immigrants (even legal ones). By 2011 in the chapter, ‘It’s Called Illegal Immigration for a Reason,’ in his book Time to Get Tough, Trump came down very hardline on the border, saying we need to build a wall, greatly increase border patrol agents, deport illegal criminals, stop giving anchor babies citizenship, etc. So, yes, I think his calling for the border to be secured for the last 16 years is long enough for me to trust that he will actually do it, especially considering all the heat he’s taken for his position. — FenwickBabbitt
That's the point! Instead of electing delegates the voters elect the candidate directly. Cut out the middle man. The preference ballot behaves much like a convention.
A public vote. Secret ballots invite cheating.
I gotta strenuously disagree. The secret ballot is the cornerstone of modern democracy. Public ballots invite threats and intimidation.
Delegate drama in the Virgin Islands involving John Yob, who seemed to think he could move to the Islands and lord over the local GOP.
‘A public vote. Secret ballots invite cheating. I gotta strenuously disagree. The secret ballot is the cornerstone of modern democracy.’
I guess you’re right. I was thinking of bosses intimidating employees which probably would not be a problem anymore.
But leftist rent-a-goons would certainly want to destroy Trump voters.
Most GOP delegates are fine individuals. Just thought I’d mention that for a change.
[God knows what DNC delegates are like.]
But it only takes a minority of them to get ‘wined and dined’ to tip the scale.
And that slimes all GOP delegates unfairly.
