Glenn Beck brought a fasting child on stage yesterday during his campaign speech for Ted Cruz in Utah. Beck declared to the Cruz crowd: This is the priesthood rising.

Back when I was creating all kinds of organizations, when things began to go south, I called in a college friend who would deep six the whole mess. Beck is Cruz’ helter skelter savant. He is single handed destroying the candidacy by design. Of course there was always the hope that the work could be pulled out of the fire and saved. This is a political hail Mary. Priesthood rising! Bad, very bad.
These people are having their children fast in the name of a political figure. Unreal.

Watching Angel Raphael teach his daughters to fake prayers for the ‘optics’ told me all I needed to know about this false witness, yet he has an authentic cult following. Not much more than a road block, but a road block can cause great harm.
Continuing to partner with the kook Glenn Beck speaks volumes of CanuckTed’s intellectual acuity to pick a quality team.
Add Neil Bush and the other Bushie Establishmentarians that CanuckTed has hired is an indication of CanuckTed’s incompetence as an executive.
Trump has a LONG history of surrounding himself with uber-high quality individuals - always an attribute of a successful executive & leader.
I expect Pastor Beck and Reverend Cruz to be handling snakes at their next revival, oops campaign rally. Talk about a campaign sliding off the rails.
A guy threatens to stab someone repeatedly, and all of a sudden he’s branded as a loon for life.

He might have gotten by with stabbing repeatedly, but he went for incessantly - “The stabbing would never stop”.
I think that raised significant health concerns over fatigue, sleep deprivation, and knowing when to stop.
I know the state of Utah uses more prescription “happy pills” than any other state...
Utah with its 70% Mormons is also the state with the most online porn watching...
I’m on here less than I used to, but I’ve posted several times in March.
Poor Glenn exhibits classic messianic sub-cult nuttiness.
Intelligent people know what usually comes next.
Hard to believe some folks continue supporting this campaign.
Cruz has jumped a whole pack of sharks with his buddy Beck. This might get votes in Utah and Idaho, but it will hurt in 48 other states.
And let’s not forget Beck’s reference to the “White Horse Prophecy” of one Joseph Smith. So Ted Cruz is a Southern Baptist, and Southern Baptists believe the LDS religion to be a cult. Glenn Beck says Ted Cruz will fulfill the Mormon prophecy of saving the Constitution “hanging by a thread”. So Beck’s message to his fellow Mormons is basically “Ted Cruz thinks we are all cultists on our way to hell...but he is the answer to our prayers and prophecies!” LOL Uh, ok.
I watched the video and it is more than creepy... it is insanely creepy. Beck was crying and the little kid was crying. The crowd seemed to be eating it up. I keep thinking that Cruz will somehow get Beck to tone it down. We will be seeing these videos 24/7 if somehow the GOPe grants the nomination to Cruz.
I will never understand how these two known boozers, Cruz and Beck been able to pull the wool over so many sincere believer’s eyes. Have any of these people bothered to look into the backgrounds of these two Elmer Gantry style flim flam men? It is crazy.
“This will be remembered as the campaign that had absolutely everything.”
I just hope this year is a bookend to the late 1960s and not another chapter. That’s the time when modern liberalism *really* started to spread in this country ... I am hoping it starts to sunset at the end this year and those sickening progressives check out for a couple of decades and find some other worthless cause to terrorize people into believing.
Unlikely, yes, but there’s always a chance :-).
Beck should look for one of those old time Snake Handlers and set up a tent. Beck is either back on the sauce or crazy...or both.
If so who listens to him?
Actually, the whole family participates on Fast Sunday. The infants still get their bottles. The very young children that aren't up to understanding what it going on will get some snacks to get them through. Most kids "get it" by age 5 and are happy to participate. The family donates the equivalent of the money they would spend on food as a fast offering. That money stays locally with the bishop to help families in the ward with financial hardships.
I like that thought. I sure hope you are right.
