on a different tack, it is obvious the "journalists" have an expensive degree. from the article
"She died after the officers gave her first aid on the scene, police said." reads like the police killed her with poor first aid.
maybe being a technical illustrator and working with technical writers makes me more aware of these things.

Seems to me that the logical consequence of brandishing a fake gun would be that a real one would appear, pointed at the one doing the brandishing. Whether that’s due to police arriving or someone else, it just seems the logical consequence. What was she trying to accomplish?

New rules of engagement due out at anytime now.
POlice are not allowed to fire on any suspect until suspect has fired at least two rounds at the POlice.
This should put a stop to most of the Police killin of young African-american mens and womens
New ROE to be evaluated after one year. If the decrease in black deaths at the hands of POlice has not decreased in sufficient numbers, the initial rounds fired my be raised substantially.
