Glenn Beck Channels Mormon Prophecy in Utah for Cruz: ‘Body of the Priesthood’-'Constitution Hangs’

“I want to speak to you about something that may be controversial. And it’s not something that I have said when I have been out for Ted [Cruz] and now Mike [Lee]. But it’s something that this crowd needs to hear – that Utah needs to hear. The body of the priesthood is known to stand up when the Constitution hangs by a thread,” Beck said. ...

“I joined many times. What held me through was the prophesy that the Constitution will hang by a thread, and this People would remember what our Founders did. It is our responsibility to stand for the Constitution,” Beck said.

Ted Cruz and the audience then gave Beck a standing ovation.

The famous Mormon prophecy Beck was referring to is known as the “White Horse Prophesy,” which was purportedly made by the Mormon founder Joseph Smith in 1843.

"Again this is total nonsense. No where is it taught or ever has been taught that God the Father and Mary had physical relations. No where. Oh I've seen your ilk try to twist it into that. She got pregnant. Jesus was half God the Father and half Mary. Mary carried Jesus to term and delivered Him just like every other baby. The process that was used to get her pregnant, we don't know.

Heber C. Kimball who was a member of the first presidency said,"In relation to the way in which I look upon the works of God and his creatures, I will say that I was naturally begotten; so was my father, and also my saviour Jesus Christ. According to the Scriptures, he is the first begotten of his father in the flesh, and there was nothing unnatural about it." (Journal of Discourses, v. 8, p. 211).

I just don’t see how one can continue to deny that the mormons were insistent on teaching that Christ was conceived by physical relations with Mary.

But, before you deny the JoD are not doctrine, consider the following from one of your self-proclaimed prophets...

And you're doing the same thing TN is doing. My cousin had two kids, both by artificial insemination. Was that unnatural or were my cousins not "begotten"?

You're putting words and meanings that aren't there. Jesus had the same number of chromosomes that ever other human has. He grew in Mary's womb naturally. She gave birth to Him.

Some where along the line Mary became pregnant and His Father's chromosomes were introduced into Mary. How they physically got there, we don't know.

If Kimball meant intercourse, he would have said intercourse. But he doesn't say that.

But for some reason you keep stretching everyone's words to get the meaning you want... ok what ever.
