Trump Still Holds 15-Point Lead Over Cruz
Rasmussen Reports ^ | March 18, 2016

Posted on 03/18/2016 8:12:45 AM PDT by GeaugaRepublican

Support for all three of the remaining Republican candidates has grown with the narrowing of the field, but Donald Trump still holds a double-digit lead over both his rivals for the GOP presidential nomination.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary Voters finds Trump with 43% support to Senator Ted Cruz’s 28% and Ohio Governor John Kasich’s 21%. Just five percent (5%) of GOP voters like some other candidate, and three percent (3%) remain undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Yet, the GOPe, the Cruz Constitutional Conservatives and anybody with any a preference outside what the polls might say is an excuse and dire need to stop Trump. Stop all of us here in drive by America who don’t buy their RINO BS anymore, nor their contorted hypotheses of how their side can still win - IF ONLY.....

Nope, not buying it. I’m done with it and them. See you in November guys.

It puzzles me that Trump does so well in the national polls against the other republicans, but the national polls show him loosing to Hillary.

Could it be that the polls against Hillary are being cooked because she doesn’t want to run against him?

Yes, further verification that Trump’s ceiling is 40 to 45%. If Kasich would get out, Cruz wins. There’s no way most Kasich voters go to Cruz.

BINGO!
Hillary and her liberal GOP allies are terrified of trump because he will win and they know it.

That is why we are seeing this massive anybody but Trump effort. The Democrats in the Republican Party are trying to get Hillary their very good friend, in place, as promised .
After all, she is corrupt and can be worked with to maintain their status quo.

Kasich is a real jackass. He supposedly wants to stop Trump, yet his actions are handing Trump the nomination.

Can’t these “Stop Trump” people I keep hearing about have a word with Jackass Junior and explain to him how his bread gets buttered?

If you dig into the numbers, it shows that Lil’ Marco’s 21% from the last poll approximately split among the 3.

Trump went up 7, Cruz went up 7, Kasich went up 9.

If Kasich drops, that would be great for Trump, according to the poll because he splits moderate with Trump.

Trumps base is wide through all types of R voters.

He’s trying to get on a ticket. John knows this is his last best chance.

I'm trying to understand what you're saying here ... If "there's no way most Kasich voters go to Cruz", then how does Kasich dropping out assure a Cruz win?

Just five percent (5%) of GOP voters like some other candidate

That 5% has to be the GOPe primary voters inside the Beltway. For them, "some other candidate" means Paul Ryan or Mitt Romney or a similar dolt whom they can anoint after engaging in rule changing and assorted procedural hocus-pocus at the convention.

Go to the election results thus far ( try politico) and look, just look at the actual popular vote turnout for each candidate

That will show you who can and is beating Hillary Clinton and forget the “ polls”

If the democrats believed these “ polls” Soros would not be entering the race to fund mobs of flying monkeys to try to take down Trump

The dem party pols would be organizing operation chaos and sending democrats across party lines to vote for Trump, en masse ( watch for this to,occur instead for Kasich in WI and PA)

Furthermore, do not give up on this great country doing the right thing and seeing Hillary Clinton indicted for her intentional wanton selfish lawless exploitation of US classified information that put this country's security at grave risk

This could be an easy win for Republicans if they got behind Trump, otherwise, it’s going to be messy and a probable win for Mrs. Clinton.

“If Kasich would get out, Cruz wins.”

First I doubt that, and even if true, Cruz couldn’t get 86% share of the delegates he would need to make 1276. Cruz wants a Brokered convention, where he can sell-out to the GOPe to hopefully get the nod, but that is a day-dream, the GOPe will crown Kasich, before they would ever give it to Cruz.
