Here is the poll

It's mathematically impossible for him to get enough delegates and I don't think Kasich has a prayer of even having a decent showing in any of the remaining primaries/caucuses. In fact, I don't expect him to even campaign much. His only plan is try and steal the nomination at a contested convention, and the GOPe Fat Cats will keep him funded for that goal.
I assume that the suspension is a preliminary to Rubio formally dropping out.
Kasich only won one state so far...
and 60% of the people in his home state voted for someone else
You’re a real DICK, Kasich
“Kasich and cruz are only there now to do the establishments dirty work ”
One distinct difference Kasich is indeed an Est. stooge. Cruz is a narcissistic climber using any and all means to an end. Their motives are different but the outcomes would be the same.
Both. Both should drop out and put their full support behind Trump. Neither can catch Trump and neither have a chance of getting all the delegates they need.
John Kasich 493 (76%)
Ted Cruz 90 (14%)
Donald Trump 62 (10%)
no matter if a candidate is “out”.
Even last night there were votes for many of the already “out” candidates.
I think many primary results would be different if all those who voted for “outs” really had to vote for someone still running.
We know it is over for both of them , but they will stay there anyway
Well, the primary nomination is a game of chess.....and it remains to be seen who has the best moves.
Trump can checkmate the GOP's king by getting the 1,237 delegates that will prove he has the majority behind him.
If he doesn't, a new game will be set at the convention and who knows how that will go.
Polls schmolls
Just look at the popular vote totals in the state primaries so far
Last night in FL Trump had just about 20K less votes in FL than did Hillary- and that was after giving up a million votes to the Cuban and the Cubanadian amigos
In FL GOP voters outnumbered democrat voters by over 700,000 last I checked. This is noted as “the Trump effect”
Yes all this furor is just smoke and mirrors. Trump should have no trouble securing 1237 delegates before the convention. Kasich is not going to win anything else and Ted will be lucky to win one or two. The contest will move to the NE and Trump will sweep it.
check out the green papers.
popular vote totals for all the previous and current candidates per state. People still voting for “outs”.
sure people can sit out, write in whomever, etc, I was just saying it would be interesting to see results if people could only vote for current candidates.
I think you are right. My question is....does Kasich think the GOPe will choose him should Trump not get the required delegates for the nomination.......or does he think he can be the "Kingmaker" for someone else and get a cushy payback for that?
We do live in interesting times..........
The only reason I can see to not allow a second vote is to protect a candidate that failed to get to 50%+1.
There are a ton of delegates out there now with no where to call home. I think the candidates they ‘belong’ to should have the option to throw their support behind one of the remaining candidates.
The upside:
The leader is shown to have consolidated the nomination and won the contest outright. — This would be good for Trump.
The guy in second is shown to have consolidated the party behind him. This gives him a mandate to lead Congress and the party that otherwise might be in dispute. — this would be good for Cruz
The downside:
It’s possible we go through two votes with no winner. That’s when things could get ugly and depending on what happens next - it could fracture the party.
IF they dropped the low man on the list and did it again all would be good and would allow the wounds from the ugly primary to heal.
I don’t think it’s going to come to that - but we’ll see.
I’d like to see Trump arrive with 45% of the Delegates, Cruz with 40% of the Delegates, and have Cruz throw his support to Trump for the V.P. slot with an option on the Supreme Court.
Kasich should just switch parties, and run against Clinton for the democrat nomination.
Cruz should drop out, get a tent or a wagon, and take his smarmy revival or medicine show act on the road.
This would free up Trump to dismantle Clinton.
Have you matched those numbers against those in the general election?
Most folks can’t be bothered to vote in a primary.
Democrats are usually the worst - in 2008 they had a big bandwagon to jump on by nominating the first... Hillary has been a foregone conclusion to most.
I haven’t had time to do this
just was watching FL numbers last night to see if Trump would pull more votes than Hillary, and at times he did but ended up just under
Cruz isn’t even in the ballpark
I read that Trump has pulled almost 8 million votes thus far in the primaries, no idea about the other guys
I'd say a poll is being lightly FReeped!
LOL!
BTW, I voted Kasich should drop out first.
GO TRUMP GO!!!
Love it when a plan comes together :-)
