His ability to beat Cruz most the time is more important.

Trump is still right on track to get enough delegates to win the nomination. GO TRUMP GO

Yep. The next time Cruz slams trump about his pathetic wins. I’d love for Trump to hit him back and say I’ve beaten you 20 times get over yourself.

If Trump doesn’t get 1237 delegates it is going to be a very big deal.

If he can’t win the nomination on the first ballot the GOPe insiders will steal the nomination. You can expect Jeb to be the candidate.

If Trump has the most delegates and they nominate someone with none or less delegates from the election then the whole friggin party is toast.

As it is there is a Trump because of the GOPe screwing voters, so if they turn around the will of the people to screw the voters how do they survive or benefit beyond in name only for a short time?

They would lose the President followed by the House, Senate and Court nominations.

that’s the end of the party.. either Trump or Cruz will have by far the most delegates from all the rest.. if the leader of those two isn’t picked we all walk.. half the party will leave

I agree with you, but that is exactly what the Sea Island Republicans have planned for us.

They think that any blowback from angry voters will be minor compared to letting Trump and his allies gain control of the GOP. I think that the GOPe will be lucky to escape violence when they pull this off.

538 says Donald is right on track if not slightly overperforming!

It’s going to require a first ballot win.

And the Sea Island Republicans are already talking about letting delegates vote freely on the first ballot instead of who they are pledged to vote for.

Never underestimate the treachery and contempt for voters that resides in the GOPe.

I think you hit the nail on the head.

But the GOPe has done such suicidal things before and may do it again, even deliberately.

Why were key GOPe leaders meeting with Dem mega-donors on some island the other day, discussing how to stop Trump?

Trump not only will have the most delegates, he will have millions more votes than Cruz. Tonight he received in FL and OH a million more votes than Cruz.

They are dumb, they were already losing control of the party from backstabbing the voters by not doing what they campaigned they would do for several elections.

There is NO love, trust or desire to have the GOPe in control and they are going to be the next wig party.

Time for the old guard to step down and for the new guard to come in.
They had their time, they had their opportunity to plunder the country with out jail time.

What makes them think the electorate won't be so mad if they are stabbed again that they won't have massive protests followed by primarying all the old guard?

Cruz was fond of saying that less than a hundred delegates separated him and Trump too. Guess he won’t be saying that anymore.

They don’t believe that we could pull it off. They think that Cantor’s loss to Dave Brat was just a fluke.

I’d reverse that because the voters vote and they are about to vote to end the current GOPe.

Primary a lot of the bums for better candidates every election until the cancer is gone.

Threaten to boycott businesses that donate to who you don’t like openly or who endorse abortion as an example.

Between voting them out at the primaries and sitting out elections where they GOPe gets to be candidates I think they will get it.

At least a Democrat stabs you while looking at you. A Republican stabs you in the back while shaking your hand if they are the GOPe.

Newt Gingrich says that's sheer fantasy. It's not going to happen.

Trump and Cruz together will have plenty of control over what happens, because there's NO WAY the Establishment can overcome the power of the two leading candidates, who will have 75%+ of the convention delegates under their control for the first vote.

Worst case scenario for either Cruz if Trump (if neither achieves a majority of delegates) is that the runner up would be guaranteed the VP slot, withe the first-place delegate holder would be the Presidential nominee.

And if either of them does win a majority of delegates, then there will be no contested convention, and he'll have significant control over who he selects as his running mate.

The Establishment is screwed 9 ways to China either way.

Isn't that delicious, my brothers and sisters?

You can expect the GOP to go up in flames. If Trump goes to the convention with a clear majority of delegates and they try to select someone else its going to be very bad.
