Ted Cruz "The Infiltrator"
Townhall ^ | 12 March 2014 | Carl Jackson

Posted on 03/15/2016 5:59:02 AM PDT by John Valentine

"You can cast a vote on Super Tuesday for Marco Rubio or John Kasich, who have no mathematical path to the nomination at this point. Frankly, they're serving as nothing more than spoilers... You can fall pray to the media hype of "the Duper." Or, you can vote to set America back on a constitutional course by voting for Ted Cruz. I choose the latter and I hope you will too."

Cruz and his ilk - status quo politicians - are always fighting yesterday’s battle. That is in stark contrast to Trump who is always steps ahead and many levels above.
Fighting yesterday’s battles is how to lose the war. And make no mistake, Ted and his ilk are losing it.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

LOL. TPA Teddy blows with the wind. Just a few weeks ago he was saying this:

“Ted Cruz remins the truest conservative in the race, and also the most electable. “

He doesn’t really believe in the 1st amendment if it hurts people’s “feels” and he’s a GOPe stooge.

You guys can drop the act already.

Most negatives I have read relate to personal not policy. We aren’t electing a BFF or pastor. We are electing a president.

A: Because Trump is random, he threatens everyone in D.C.

The Uniparty has all levers of power allocated, controlled, and known. Billions and Trillions of dollars are at stake, and mere Trumpian Randomness cannot be allowed to come and mess up their tightly controlled game.

I kinda like that. I know my preferred policy positions will lose about half the time under Random Trump. BUT! My preferred positions will WIN about half the time, randomly. That is a 100% improvement over current Uniparty Rule, in which conservatism NEVER wins.

That perfectly explains the situation too, without ascribing to Trump any conservative principles, evidence of which is always contradicted by Trump himself. By supposing randomness, my thesis is more well supported by Trump’s history of being on both sides of every issue.

That term “convience” certainly applied when Cruz voted “Yes” on the Corker bill, which flipped the role of Congress in dealing with a proposed treaty. He kinda ignored what the Constitution directly says on that subject.

Donald Trump encouraged this behavior, which is well documented, and was the catalyst for the Chicago mini-riot.

Had this not happened, there would have been protesters/disruptors but not on the organized scale we saw.

No Trump rally had been shut-down prior to this incident.

Trump not responsible you'll say. ...we disagree.

Cruz is not expected to do well today....he has no chance to win the Nom, outright, or via brokered convention.

He/s nothing more than a pest.....he/d be lucky if he retains his Senate seat. Donald kept him way below the 50% he needed to sweep the Texas delegates. Cruz/s 44% was the poorest showing ever by a Texas Republican....Bush got 88%.

By staying in a race where he clearly isn't wanted, Cruz shows his devious hand. He reveals his only goal is to damage the Trump brand. Cruz/s animosity toward Trump has reached the hatred stage.

I once thought Cruz qualified for SCOTUS but I don’t want a justice who doesn’t support my First Amendment.

You seriously think Donald Trump is electable with the highest negatives of any presidential candidate in history - and 67% of the electorate stating that they cannot imagine a set of circumstances where they could cast a vote for him?

Honest response from Trump supporters. That or "those" polls are wrong.

What were Reagan’s negatives at this point in 1980?

Yea the polls said Reagan would lose big too.

Lok cruz has only won 3 primary election state, one of which was his own with less than 50% which is awful.
He could not win a single county in some of the southern states.
He came third ion the swing state of VA, looks to come 3rd in the other two swing states today of FL, OH
He has no where to go.

What more proof do you need ?

Ted Cruz remins the truest conservative in the race, and also the most electable.

++++++++++++

His deeds belie his words. He is a Bush machine mole into conservative ranks.

We have seen time and time again Ted Cruz throw the Constitution under the bus if he think he can personally gain from doing so. Cruz is not a constitutional conservative. On the NBC issue, TPP, Corker, Patriot Act and now siding with anti-first amendment thugs in Chicago. I am amazed he’s still got a lot of conservative support. I would think bringing the Bush family, the very definition of the establishment, into his campaign would be a deal breaker.

the false media meme

And that is exactly what it is, a false media meme. Cruz placed the responsibility on the violence squarely on the protesters.

And then tonight, as violence broke out, the rally was canceled all together. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands.

The false theme is that Cruz didn't blame the protesters. But since the lie has been repeated enough times, people believe it...At this point, they must want to believe it. Not sure what purpose it serves, but they believe it.

I would love to sit on FR all day and correct this over and over and over and over. But I have to get some work done.

Soros backed Cruz...

I supposed it's too much to ask for proof of this?

The funny part is if Cruz does drop out and endorse Trump, suddenly he will become, once again, the principled conservative.
