n your wildest imagination a year ago, you never would have pictured the Republican presidential race this way on the eve of the Ohio primary.
John Kasich, the state's popular two-term governor, takes the stage at a high school about a mile from his home. At this moment, he is the GOP establishment's last best hope.
There's Mitt Romney by his side. The same Mitt Romney who, when he was the Republican nominee in 2012, received little help or enthusiasm from Kasich.
Except this is really happening. And yet it's not the most confident pose for Kasich. He is fighting harder than he ever thought he would have to to win Ohio.
As Kasich spoke here Monday evening, the man who could ruin his White House dreams delivered his own closing argument across the state in Youngstown. Donald Trump, the flashy real estate mogul and entertainer, has upended things in ways unforeseen.
Recent polls forecast a close race Tuesday, with Kasich inching out to a narrow lead.

Kasich is dragging an anchor.
The one who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory .... that one?
Mitt didn’t even try. His job was to block a Conservative from getting the nomination.
Kasich comes out.
Kasich is toast. He is just being used by the GOPe to try to stop Trump.
I think and hope they won’t succeed.
Mitt only won his Ohio primary by .9 percent in 2012 with 38%
Is Evander Holyfield mumbling his support, too? Mitt has morphed from a plausibly good guy into a political joke.
LMAO Romney is ‘going to pull kay sick across the finish line’ like he won against obuma....LMAO
So ends the Kasich campaign.
Mitt has a great following in Ohio, if 2012 is any indication. ;-)
The 2012 United States presidential election in Ohio took place on November 6, 2012 as part of the 2012 General Election in which all 50 states plus The District of Columbia participated. Ohio voters chose 18 electors to represent them in the Electoral College via a popular vote pitting incumbent Democratic President Barack Obama and his running mate, Vice President Joe Biden, against Republican challenger and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and his running mate, Congressman Paul Ryan.
According to the Office of Secretary of State’s website, President Obama won the popular vote in Ohio with 50.67% of the vote over Mitt Romney in second place at 47.69%, a Democratic victory margin of 2.98%.[1]

He is the surrogate who walks unseen. Mitt has Bilbo’s ring.
Kasich is a wimp along with Cruz and Rubio.

If only Romney’d been that eager to stop The Won four years ago, he’d be running for reelection today.
Keep it Mitty Boy! You just help grow the anti-establishment’s numbers! Thank you.
