A Letter Bill Clinton Sent A GOP Candidate (Not Trump) Was Just Unearthed, And It’s Big (Kasich/AWB)

A warmly worded thank you note from the days when there was a Clinton in the White House is raising questions about Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s stand on gun control.

In 1994, when former President Bill Clinton was working to get an assault weapons ban through Congress, Kasich was one of only 38 Republicans who voted in support of H.R. 4296, the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994.

For that action, he received a letter, only recently unearthed, from Clinton.

Back in the nineties, I used to listen to G. Gordon Liddy on the radio. He was NOT a Kasich fan.

Kasich is GOPe, lukewarm type.

We all know that.

But, what was Trump saying about gun control in 1994?

He was more radically for it than milktoast RINO’s like Kasich.

What does the handwriting say? “Enjoyed our night together?”

I think it was German for "Didn't that cigar have a great aroma".

Let’s see - if what I have heard is true, Trump was in favor of the assault weapons ban in 1994, too.

Trump supported the “assault rifle” ban, I’m not sure if that’s one of the times Trump was a democrat or Republican but I believe he was a democrat at that time.

Or maybe not....

Trump wasn’t in office nor was he able to voe for any gun bans. He was a private citizen - there’s a difference, dumbo.

Everyone rightly slams Kasich for this two decade old stance on gun control. Yet – somehow, no one cares about the leftist things Trump has said in the past few years.

“Trump wasn’t in office nor was he able to voe for any gun bans. He was a private citizen - there’s a difference, dumbo.”

Dumbo?

He was a public figure wo jade his opinion known.

Trump was publicly pro-gun control when he didn’t need to be, was not a politician.

Why does Trump get a pass?

What’s Trump’s position on guns, you ask?

“What’s Trump’s position on guns, you ask?”

That’s not what I asked.

I pointed out at the same time as this Kasich thing, Trump was even more pro-gun control.

We all know a Trump pulled a Romney and changed his public positions to more conservative shortly before he began a run for national office.

I’m glad you sicked that up again.
Here’s another Ronald Reagan parallel: Reagan was a life long liberal Democrat, actor, SAG, the whole nine yards.
In 1961 at the age of 51 he changed parties.

He was asked why: “I didn’t leave my party. It left me.”

There are a lot of people feeling that way now.

Read Trump’s positions NOW, in 2016, and try to stop living in the past.

`Kung Fu’ Kasich is a pro-NAFTA free traitor; a pro-amnesty and open borders, cheap labor shill; a huge, quibbling squish on infanticide; he’s pro-gun control NOW—and on-and-on. He may as well be a Democrat.

Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way FRiend.
