Voters Slam Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio for Blaming Chicago Rally Shutdown on Donald Trump
Breitbart ^ | 3/12/16 | KATIE MCHUGH

Supporters of Sens. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) took to social media to slam the freshman senators for blaming leftists shutting down a Trump Chicago rally on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.

“I think a campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment, when the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence — to punch people in the face. The predictable consequence of that is that it escalates and today is unlikely to be the last such instance. We earlier today in St. Louis over thirty arrested. That’s not how our politics should occur,” Cruz said Friday. “You know, the City of Chicago in 1968 saw some ugly days when politics descended into hatred and incivility and even violence and it is my hope that in 2016 that we can appeal to our better angels and avoid going down that road once again.”

Cruz supporters, incensed by the Texas senator’s blame game, stormed social media to express their anger. Top comments on a Friday Facebook post promoting a Cruz “victory fund” drew furious responses (comments quoted here are unedited):

Jerry Shalow: Cruz you lost my vote for using this protest for your political game. Rubio also. Trump has my vote. How about the violations of the 1st amendment TED!!!!!!! Condone the violence what you just did.

Pappy Beagles: I’m a Texan, I voted for you for the senate, and was supporting you for president, up until you blamed Trump for the savage behavior of Hillary and Bernie supporters in Chicago. I just sent a $100.00 contribution to a billionaire, and i’m retired on a fixed income, so guess this is goodbye to you, and I am now firmly on the Trump wagon.

Gayle Natale: Mr. Cruz, I just listened to your response regarding the protestors who caused

” It’s over tonight for the other candidates, they left a man on the field of battle.

Instead of denouncing this vicious attack by the left, they blamed Trump. These speeches tonight will come back to haunt them in the worst way possible.

They just gave Hillary the roadmap to defeat them, simply protest their rallies, and make them take responsibility for it, like they just asked Trump to do tonight.
I’ll repeat that! “ ********************************

Worth repeating! Painter!

Bush administration
Cruz joined the George W. Bush presidential campaign in 1999 as a domestic policy adviser, advising then-Governor George W. Bush on a wide range of policy and legal matters, including civil justice, criminal justice, constitutional law, immigration, and government reform.

Cruz assisted in assembling the Bush legal team, devising strategy, and drafting pleadings for filing with the Supreme Court of Florida and U.S. Supreme Court, in the case Bush v. Gore, during the 2000 Florida presidential recounts, leading to two wins for the Bush team. Cruz recruited future Chief Justice John Roberts and noted attorney Mike Carvin to the Bush legal team.

It was a SS man who grabbed her, not one of Trumps people. The fact that you still defend TEDDY when he has Yebs! brother on his staff speaks volumes.

They used to say that giving into terrorist demands just encourages more of the same. Disruptors want the likes of Cruz to finish what they started. When Cruz obliges, it just validates the efforts of the disruptors' actions and leads to more disruptions at future rallies.

Cruz has to stop feeding the beast.

I’ve listened to Cruz supporters insist that Cruz upholds the constitution. We now have, directly from Cruz himself, what that looks like from a Cruz perspective.

Cruz doesn’t have a Godly sense of justice and righteousnes, because if he did, he’d live it. What he lived when he condoned and supported this violence against Americans, Americans who are upholding their constitutional responsibilities, and FELLOW PARTY MEMBER Donald Trump was a display of Anti-American core values. There is no constitutional support in this man, there isn’t even decency in this man.

He doesn’t belong behind the desk, or behind the bench.

His tone and attitude are despicable and certainly not presidential.

You had better go to the FB page of Cruz and see those negative comments!

I expect Cruz to make another comment on the issue back peddling soon.

No, I oppose thuggery, typically done by fascists such as Move-ON, BLM, or Trump’s people.
