There are lots of political machinations going on with the GOP presidential primary. Word is that former Florida Governor and presidential candidate Jeb Bush will be meeting with remaining candidates Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and John Kasich. We know Neil Bush is a Cruz campaign finance committeeman. And after what can only be referred to as poor performances this past Tuesday, I surmise there are growing behind-the-scenes calls for Rubio and Kasich to exit. Man, there are probably some serious Godfather-type discussions going on.
Heres whats at risk. If Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Ohio Governor John Kasich remain in this contest and end up losing next week Tuesday in their respective states very probable to Donald Trump, he walks away in those winner take-all-primaries. What that means is Trump gains an even bigger delegate lead which will be even more monumental to overcome.
Now, Rubio and Kasich will respond to the calls to drop out by saying, we got this but thats a gamble some arent willing to take. What I find very interesting is as we recently shared the real losers in this whole episode are the GOP elites and their special interest crony capitalists who benefit from fiascos like the Export-Import Bank and bailouts. The GOP elite have truly found themselves in the predicament of being between the devil and the deep blue sea and it appears theyre going to choose the deep blue sea.

No more proof needed he is establishment
.. yes, more is needed since you’ve offered NONE
ymmv
After calling him “little Marco” many times? Lightweight? etc.
What I can’t understand is the refusal of the hardliners to acknowledge that anyone who is a citizen at birth meets the Framer’s definition of a natural born citizen. I used to think differently myself, but after a lot of study, it became clear to me that the Framer’s relied on Vattel, not on English common law.
Cruz inherited is US citizenship from his mother in a natural way, by family lineage and not by statute as some have argued. Argue away, but when you do, please be aware that you are arguing from a weak, un-researched, un-thought through position.
Trump/Sandoval
It would be way too easy to find an agreeable judge, and all of those delegates would be up for grabs.
Did you EVEN read the posts?? The answer was to a CRUZ/ Bush Ticket so before you answer WHY DON’T YOU READ !!!!
The fact that, as you correctly point out, there has been no definitive resolution to this question underscores it’s difficulty.nif there were a simplistic formula that all the Framers could have agreed upon, we would know about it. The fact is that there was in fact no such consensus ever reached, making the originalist case impossible to make convincingly.
Under these conditions the less restrictive piont of view, the one that is embodied in the statutes.
I'm no longer a Cruzer. But I wouldn't begrudge his running if it were clarified, for Cruz and Rubio and for the future. The crime is that the 'pubs didn't pursue the issue after Obama's first election. The way things are now, it's a slippery slope. What's to stop someone from being President of more than one country if some definition doesn't happen before there are no rules left?
Biden was a candidate for President in early 2008. That’s when he made his well-spoken, clean Negro comment about Obama.
Cruz/Neil Bush?
Knowing the GOP they will do everything in their power to elect Hillary.
Romney / McCain
LOL
Bush was picked for him.You can bet the Reagans did not like that family one bit.
Neither Rubio nor Kasich are going to run away with this. The only reason to stay in is to stymie Cruz by splitting the non-Trump vote.
Only once, by an appropriate court of proper jurisdiction.
All else is wasted bandwidth.
I try to ignore stupidity on these threads, but sometimes I can't. Maybe you should take another look at the delegate count. Cruz is in second place, and of an initial field of 12 candidates, that is a lot more than "zero support".
Nope. That would get hauled off in a Silverado (Savings and Loan).
