Y’all can attack me for saying, but here’s the GOP ticket I see emerging…

There are lots of political machinations going on with the GOP presidential primary. Word is that former Florida Governor and presidential candidate Jeb Bush will be meeting with remaining candidates Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and John Kasich. We know Neil Bush is a Cruz campaign finance committeeman. And after what can only be referred to as poor performances this past Tuesday, I surmise there are growing behind-the-scenes calls for Rubio and Kasich to exit. Man, there are probably some serious “Godfather”-type discussions going on.

Here’s what’s at risk. If Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Ohio Governor John Kasich remain in this contest and end up losing next week Tuesday in their respective states — very probable –to Donald Trump, he walks away in those winner take-all-primaries. What that means is Trump gains an even bigger delegate lead which will be even more monumental to overcome.

Now, Rubio and Kasich will respond to the calls to drop out by saying, we got this” but that’s a gamble some aren’t willing to take. What I find very interesting is — as we recently shared — the real losers in this whole episode are the GOP elites and their special interest crony capitalists who benefit from fiascos like the Export-Import Bank and bailouts. The GOP elite have truly found themselves in the predicament of being between the devil and the deep blue sea — and it appears they’re going to choose the deep blue sea.

I thought there was a poll or two that showed Kasich winning Ohio...

The Rube should drop out now... If their goal is to stop trump who was a strong second in that same poll Kasich should stay in through Ohio.

it sounds like he’s in favor of a brokered convention.

I love Allen West but totally disagree with his Cruz/Fiorina ticket. At least he was able to make his case without calling us Trump supporters some type of disparaging name. Thank you Col. West!

NO surprise:

He predicts Cruz will pick Fiorina (which she is aiming for) IF Cruz is the nominee.

Nah.

Cruz/Fiorina
Cruz/Carson
Cruz/Walker
Cruz/Lee

I don’t know. If he must deal then Rubio but not Kasich.

Thanks for summing it up. The article takes forever to say it and the OP didn’t.

I should have clicked on the story and read the whole thing. I actually think Fiorina has earned a place at the table after her stellar endorsement.

Cruz is not going to be the nominee. Or if he is, get ready for President Hillary Clinton.

A failed businesswoman who can’t carry her home state. That’s a great idea

The colossal establishment bore Kasich WILL stay in to prevent Cruz from overtaking Trump, and he WILL be rewarded with a VP slot. I predicted this here a month ago and was scoffed at.

Cruz/McCain(Meghan)

Uh oh, here come the boob jokes...cringe. Thankfully, Meghan McCain isn't old enough...whew!

And she's only 5'1"? She's got enough "up front" for Britney Griner.

The Cruz/Carly ticket has one BIG flaw.
H1b

Carly invented exploiting it for personal gain.
I have no idea what Cruz thinks of it.
I DO know he has NO high tech experience.

Cruz/forget it

If the backstabbers steal the nomination for Cruz, the next step will be to shop for a compliant judge to rule against Cruz's Natural Born Citizenship status. Then the ticket will be whoever they damn well please/whoever they damn well please. Will they lose? Of course but they don't care. The priority of the elite is to maintain control of the Republican Party.

How many times does this have to be spelled out for Cruzers?

Kasich is running for VP. He thinks a strong showing in Ohio will show the eventual nominee that he can help carry Ohio and no Republican has won the presidency without carrying Ohio for a very, very long time.

Hate to say it, but Cruz/Bush is the one that popped into my head earlier this week. That is the only reason I can see the Bush clan joining with Cruz. Nothing against Cruz, but I want nothing to do with the Bush family now or going forward.

No. It is Trump who gives Hillary the best chance at the Presidency b/c the sleaze factor will be neutralized. Just wait until Trump’s racist and sexist comments saturate the airwaves for months.
