Americans broadly favor Senate hearings on a U.S. Supreme Court nomination by President Obama, with nearly half of Republicans as well as large majorities of Democrats and independents alike pushing back against the GOP leadership on whether to consider a nominee.
Sixty-three percent overall in a new ABC News-Washington Post poll favor hearings and a vote on whether to accept Obamas nomination of a replacement for Antonin Scalia, the high court justice who died Feb. 13. Half as many, 32 percent, say hearings should be set aside and the nomination left for Obamas successor, the position taken by Senate Republican leaders.
Seventy-nine percent of Democrats and 62 percent of political independents favor hearings on Obamas nominee. Republicans split on the issue, with 46 percent in favor, 49 percent opposed....

I have no problem giving an Obama nominee a hearing.
After all - the democrats gave Robert Bork a hearing.
Republicans should reciprocate.

What nominee? There is no nominee.

I’m sure that at least half of these morons believe that the Supreme Court cannot consider any cases until the 9th member is appointed. They would actually probably work better if they only had 7 Justices, so let’s get rid of Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

I haven't watched TV network news in a long while, until yesterday. I turned on ABC and they were trying to connect Trump to Nazis. They said because he had his audience raise their right hand to pledge support they were giving him the Nazi salute. I guess who ever takes the oath of office and raises his right hand or whoever is sworn into the Army is obviously a Nazi too. Soto is the witness who raises his right arm before giving witness in a court. That was just the lowest nastiest dirt bag thing I have ever seen.

Since when has congress worried about poll results regarding, well, ANYTHING?
Really? 67% of ALL Americans, polled, did not want ObamaCare to pass.

1000 adults surveyed.
Probably many surveys were / are being taken with possibly widely differing results. The corrupt media is likely reporting the surveys with results that compliment their political agendas.
