Joe Scarborough usually sets the tone on Morning Joe. But today, Mika Brzezinski took the lead, abruptly booting Florida Governor Rick Scott from the show today for his refusal to comment substantively on Donald Trump's statement yesterday that "Islam hates us."
As Scott repeated various bland statements about Florida, Mika could be heard muttering "wrap it" and "no, no." After a final try at getting Scott to respond, Mika curtly announced "we will move on now. Thanks." When the show returned after a break, Mika excoriated Scott, calling his performance "weak, sniveling political wavering," saying he was "pathetic" and that he shouldn't be governor if he couldn't answer the question.

When "hot" Mika (hot??? - good grief!) and Morning Schmoe set the trap, he avoided it, perhaps not as artfully as he could have, but the alternative was pernicious...and the Guv knew it.
He wasn't about to get into a spraying contest with two skunks. Good for him.

Gee, so we cannot even SAY that “Islam hates the US” any more?
Are they trying to argue that “Islam “loves” us, Islam “loves the United States” (and Israel too?) and at the same time, claiming that “Donald Trump is causing the hatred (that doesn’t exist now/didn’t exist before) by admitting that “Islam hates us”?
Gee. And Muslims have been attacking Christians and Jews and other Arabs and the Hindus and Indi’s since 670 AD.
He refuses to answer their gotcha question and attack Trump. Good for him.
Notice they called him weak, sniveling and pathetic behind his back after he was gone.
That takes real courage.
Did anyone catch the last segment of the show where an “expert” weighed in on the contested convention idea?
He was talking about bound and unbound delegates.

I rarely watch that show but just happened to catch her insane meltdown today. I hope she will awaken in the wee hours of tomorrow morning cringing about her behavior, like a drunk does after an embarrassing bender.
