Huffington Post reporter Ryan Grim told CNN’s Brooke Baldwin on Tuesday that “something like 54 private jets” had arrived at an elite meeting of tech CEOs, GOP party insiders and big donors set on stopping Donald Trump before he wins the Republican nomination.

Grim broke the story (link: ):

Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute’s annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the secretive gathering.

The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

All of these people are there, but not to stop Trump.

They are there to stop US from breaking the chains that they and their ilk have formed for the last several generations. We have finally woken up to the fact that the pols that we elect have no interest whatsoever in US, but only in doing their masters’ bidding...and we are sick and tired of it. They are destroying our sovereignty, moving our jobs overseas and bringing hundreds of thousands of savages to our shores.

Make no mistake: this conference is about how they re-forge our chains.

They land at the next door island St. sImons. I saw pictures on Facebook taken of all the private planes parked there during the meeting.

Sea Island is a gated island with heavy security. On of the controversial international organizations met there a few years ago. Protesters were upset they could not shut down the meeting. One bridge to St. Simons and one bridge on to Sea Island. It is surrounded on three sides by marshes and befor that swamp areas with alligators. The protesters did not risk going through those two areas.

Now thats a bi partisan meeting of the would be ruling elite.

These guys make it real hard to oppose Donald Trump

Every time my doubts about Trump start to get the better of me , these grafting grifter Tammney Hall styled, self appointed ruling elites pull a stunt like this that makes me realize Trump must be doing something right because he is pissing off and scaring the heck out of all the right people. Specifically, the 'right people' Trump really seems to agitate are people who get rich off off of government money and who make their fortunes sucking on the public trough and get ever richer on the backs of the American people

...”Well heck yeah. Srsly. Would you fly on a yucky common carrier if you didn’t have to? Hmmm. I wonder what percentage of the attendees are also glow-bull warmunists who want YOU to back off on using energy and causing pollution. 98% of them?”...

We common folks out here are just not getting it. These folks are way smarter than we are, you know, so they consider they have the right to choose the candidates from among those they can control. Also, they may sense that Trump knows the secrets of their success in politics and every other way. What if he became President and spilled the beans or, GASP, brought all those jobs from around the world back to Americans, causing the big guys with the private jets to have to pay taxes, like the widow woman does if she has a modest income in retirement. I have never seen so many people so mad and every time these elite GOP establishment guys beat on Trump in yet a different way, people just become furious. I once heard that it takes only 3% of a mad, deeply committed population to totally revolutionize it. I am guessing that Trump’s following is way bigger than that.

I don’t believe it is a commercial airport per se. Runway is about 5500 feet so it makes minimum for most all private jets depending on fuel load.

Another example of Jacksonian politics. As Andrew Jackson fought corrupt elites, so now does Trump.

Sea Island eh. Thought so. Right next to Jekyll Island where the Federal Reserve was founded.

Elites from Federal Reserve go the Cloisters Resort there quite often.

Yes an Island but whether a runway can handle commercial jets is dependent on the load factor of its runways. St Marten's is an island too and notorious for landing 747s that just clear the fence and blow people into the water on takeoffs!
