Neil Bush, brother of Jeb and George W. Bush, has joined the Ted Cruz national finance team, the senator’s campaign announced this afternoon.
Whether Neil Bush is an outlier within the family, or the vanguard of a dynastic shift, remains to be seen.
“This is certainly great news,” said Cruz communications director Alice Stewart.

Is he arrogant enough to think his becoming President is so important that he should sacrifice important principles to get there? Now it makes sense that Cruz and John Roberts were good friends.
Looks like Cruz is unifying the party behind him.
If trump doesn’t get to the magic number by convention time the re-vote will likely go to Cruz.
That will upset roughly 35% of the primary voters but if Cruz gets anywhere near 60% in the re-vote they’ll have to admit that Cruz wins in a head to head. Well, they should admit it but I’m sure they never will.
That's because everyone who was involved in the S&L mess was toxic. (Except for McCain, and he was just trying to use his office to help out a friend.)
I’ve been told that not voting for the GOP candidate is the same as voting for Hillary. The additional remark has been Do you really want Hillary as your president? followed often by You GOPe people don’t care about the country! or some other nonsense.
My advice? Do whatever makes you proud that you cast your ballot. I’ve cast far too many for people I didn’t think should hold the office.
