Members of the Morning Joe panel got a good laugh today as Al Hunt reported on anguish in establishment GOP ranks. Hunt said that he "was at an event Saturday night with a lot of establishment Republicans and some Rubio people and despair so understates the case. [ Laughter ] I -- really, I've never seen anything like it. There was a lot of heavy drinking" after that.
A bit later, Hunt imagined a scenario in which someone informs Mitch McConnell that they had figured out a way to stop Trump: with Ted Cruz, "at which point Mitch has a nervous breakdown." Again, laughter from the panel.

Morning Joe laughs at GOP establishment despair, notion of Mitch McConnell having “nervous breakdown.”
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
I understand Democrats’ glee about it, but from my perspective, I think the GOP should have thought more about that old line “Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.”
Whatever is happening to GOP establishment, they deserve 10 times more, frankly.
Buy stock in MAALOX. Its gonna skyrocket.
Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. Really more than just an “old line:” it’s scriptural.
God’s time is not our time, but it might be this time! LOL

They know the end is near......they are fast-tripping to nowhere.
I am looking for venture capital for a short term business opportunity.
I am planning on renting a facility near the convention center where I will be selling tar, feathers, and pitchforks.
I had thought of an ammo store, but I know everyone will have plenty of ammo, but I think most have overlooked the above.
The very fact that the home state of Republican Establishment Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell & fellow Kentucky Republican Senator, Rand Paul went overwhemingly for Donald J. Trump....says McConnell & Paul are politcal has beens. Truth be known, either anti-Republican Establishment, Donald J. Trump or, anti-Republican Establishment, Senator Ted Cruz will be the GOP POTUS nominee!!! Both are full blown “Outsiders”!!! Hint: Bye-bye....McConnell & Paul!!!
Heavy drinking is nothing new. It’s been the glue that kept the party together for decades. Those who didn’t drink or drank nominally were excluded from back room. Another reason DJT is not welcomed?
You know there would be a real possibility of that happening if the convention was being held somewhere in the deep south. Chickenshit northern rinos run the party. Dont you find it strange that most of the deep south is firmly behind a new York yankee?I love it.
OUTSTANDING!!!
Interesting (if Al wasn’t one of the ones drinking heavily).
E-mail me when they get to projectile vomiting.
I want pictures on my cellphone and movies for YouTube!!
You think about the words that have come out of their mouths, not supported by action.
You think about the media, including talk shows, Fox News, websites that have promoted their stage show of lies and deceit.
You think about the elections they’ve stolen like the primary runoff for the US Senate in Mississippi in 2014 with the use of Democrat voters and the “racist” tag they hung on Chris McDaniel.
And the list goes on. Here in PA, Pat Toomey, who has dumped on the Second Amendment twice, has no opponent on the primary ballot in April because the rules for qualifying on the ballot were modified for his office to be different than others.
The Republican Establishment in deserves utter contempt.
When I first walked into the Republican dens to participate in politics, adult beverages were in abundance.
I’m not trying to preach down, I’m a drunk and have consumed adult beverages to excess myself, even as a ‘religious person’.
I’m thankful for my sobriety and pray anyone out there including the GOPe would find sobriety in their lives.
Huckabee said (paraphrasing) they’re lucky that people are voting with ballots instead of bullets.
When the ballot box fails, there is always the cartridge box. :0)
Or as O’bummer has said about electricity, “Necessarily skyrocket!”
