Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) said on Sunday that the media is sitting on explosive negative information about front-runner Donald Trump with plans to run it later in the year to tear the candidate apart.
"I think an awful lot of reporters — I can't tell you how many media outlets I hear, you know, have this great exposé on Donald, on different aspects of his business dealings or his past, but they said, 'You know what? We're going to hold it to June or July,'" Cruz said on CBS's "Face The Nation" Sunday. "We're not going to run it now."
Cruz said the media has given the front-runner "hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising." Every press conference Trump has is shown on every television station, he said, noting the media helped create this "phenomenon."
"And all of the attacks on Donald that the media is not talking about now, you'd better believe come September, October, November — if he were the nominee — every day on the nightly news would be taking Donald apart," he said.

“I think an awful lot of reporters”.....Yeah like EVERYONE of ‘em is gonna sit on the story for now?!!! Not one would try to sell this to the NE or some other outlet? There is no way they ALL could, or would want to, keep this YUGE story quiet. Ted must have got this straight from his screwball idiot adviser Glenn ‘The Knife’, (a little Bobby Darin there!), Beck.

It extends across the political spectrum. Sanders has massive support, and he's being effectively shut out by the rules of their game.
The message the elite will take away from this is that they don't need voters to win elections. If it's possible to do so, they'll pass even LESS legislation that helps middle class US citizens. They will usurp even more wealth and power. They'll for all practical purposes be an unrestrained elitist dictatorship.
I'm not exaggerating. Romney unmasked them, for all to see.
Whatever bombshells they have will begin exploding the moment Trump or Cruz gets the nomination. They will try to convince the gullible that Hillary is a persecuted saint by dragging her opponent through whatever mud they can find. It will be ugly.
If they have anything they are going to hold it until Trump is the candidate so they can decimate the Republican Party and hand the election to Hillary.
Cruz is being treated with kid gloves right now. No one is attacking him. The likes of Romney are actively telling supporters of Rubio and Kasich to vote for Cruz in specific situations. There are no negative attacks against him and he has talk radio in his back pocket. With ALL of that Trump, who has 2 political parties, billionaires and the media going hard against him every night, calling him KKK supporter regularly and talk radio conservative giants bashing him 5 times a week, is still beating him. This guy is establishment to the core and he makes me sick

Of course you’re correct. You can just go to reputable sources on the Internet and even to his books and videos of Trump’s past statements and interviews to get contradictions and what will be presented as scandles.
They may find something on Cruz but it is much more likely they have real damaging dirt on someone as notorious as Trump.
They have already attacked Trump with so much innuendo that whatever they have will be rebuked and turned around on either the media, the democrat party or Hillary herself... LOl this is what makes Trump a great candidate, he loves to destroy opponents and Hillary has so much dirty laundry and baggage Trump is going to rip her apart directly, it will be knock down and drag out and because she hurt herself with her lunatic commie fringe they won’t be coming to her rescue. I sure hope Trump can get his hands on her Goldman Sachs transcripts, if he releases them the Rat party will fracture because the Bernie supporters will swear that if only they had been released during the Primary Bernie would have won, Clinton will have stolen the election from the radical socialist.... and they will not defend her yucking it up with wall street fat cats... LOL this will be priceless...

Unfortunately you can’t get Cruz supporters to see this because they are too blinded with hatred for Trump to understand that, at this point, it’s really not even about Trump

If the news media is trying to stop Trump they are doing a terrible job. As Cruz said, they have given Trump 10’s of millions of dollars of free advertisement. Every other story is something about Trump. It is absurd.
I’m amazed that so many still support Cruz after he did exactly what Obama did - sealing some of his records. The only reason people do that is because they have something to hide, and I think that something is that his mother gave up her American citizenship while living in Canada, and therefore, he isn’t eligible to be POTUS. This should be a red flag for the American people, but, I guess they like to continue being the stupid Americans.
I am a pretty reasonable person, at times, so let me fill you in on something maybe people haven’t thought of:
If you think the ‘bombs’ being thrown at Trump right are hard, wait until Trump or Cruz meets Hillary at her finest...
Trump is tough, and he can take it, I don’t know about Cruz, I don’t care enough about him to even count, so here we are, one of them is going to have to go up against the shrill herself....the media, DNC, talking heads, foreign leaders she’s paid off, everybody and their dogs are going to protect her and there isn’t going to be a thing to fight back with, unless you start collecting articles now, and I have been since 2012; so I have the ‘ammo’ to hit back and so does Trump, she is the ‘New World Order’ darling and don’t think that isn’t the truth...
When Trump warned Cruz about his birther situation, he wasn’t being mean as a lot took it to mean, he was warning him he had better clean it up because Hillary will use it and it will be ‘turned around’ to her benefit, and his weak statement of ‘my mother was born in America’ isn’t going to mean a tinker’s damn to her, she’ll file papers in every court in America, and those Judges will be paid heavily to side with her or their jobs will be gone, this is the Clinton Crime Family, they are killers, crooks, liars and a lot more and aren’t behind bars and never will be...
So think about this, don’t take this lightly, she will do anything and everything to get to the Oval Office, even assassination if need be....
