BIRCH RUN, Mich. Gov. John Kasich of Ohio released partial tax returns on Saturday showing that he and his wife earned more than $5 million from 2008 through 2014.
Mr. Kasich follows two of his Republican opponents, Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, who released partial tax returns last weekend. Their actions, followed by Mr. Kasichs disclosure on Saturday, add to the pressure on Donald J. Trump to release his returns.

Not bad for government work.
You are very right. Many speculate that he’s staying in at the request of the establishment to keep Cruz or Trump from gaining enough delegates. To help keep Rubio alive.
George Soros gave him a $ 200,000 campaign donation.
RUN from this russophobic warmongers.
Unlike politicians such as Clinton(s) and Harry Reid, Kasich has not used his government position to make millions. If he made money in private industry, good for him.
I like Kasich, and thing he’d be a powerful candidate in Nov. Funny how the Trump people here call him RINO, when he is far to the right of Donald. He also has a history in many positions of being far to the right of Donald, who’s history is one of a Dem and Clinton donor.
Regardless, I will vote for the Republican in Nov - I don’t even need to see the name on the ballot - anyone but Clinton.
Or George Soros.
A.B.C.
I don’t know what this means. I gave praise to Kasich, but said I’d vote for the Republican. Assuming you will also vote for the Republican, I will vote for the same person as you.
And this is a bad thing?

He's a banker. There is no line between public and private in banking. It's all one company.
If he had some money he'd be able to run the midwest and maybe the mountain west too.
At least 90% of Americans are sure to see him as a compassionate, serious and effective man.
And, he is that. He's just not transformative.
The entire institutional base of the current media/political cabal must be burnt to the ground for this country to stand a chance at survival.
There is a big difference between an elected or appointed public servant drawing a modest public salary, and someone working in a private business, drawing a salary from revenue of the business.
The whole idea in private business is to make a lot of money. Not so on the public side. An official, elected or appointed, cannot use his/her office and the influence it carries, or insider information gathered, to make lots of money.
I’ve done both, and there is a very big, bright line between the two.
That is emphatically untrue. I have worked as a VP in technology at one of the largest firms in the world for 13 years and can assure you it is private through and through. The only thing slanting towards public would be the thousands of regulations the banks are under. Because someone is successful in their position in the banking sector doesn’t make them evil, or NWO, or whatever is used these days to be envious of ones success in the private sector
How did a ‘public servant’ amass the ability to make that much money anwyay? Is he related to Bill &Hillary?
But I'm not sure he'll win OH. His budget favors construction projects and other giveaways to deep pocket donors. Local budgets are being starved at the expense of those endeavors. Besides that, he's irritated a lot of conservatives for at times defying the conservative legislature in order to implement a liberal agenda.
Kasich weak on immigration - Enough Said!
Isn’t it funny how “they” all come out of political office rich.....how can that be?
Kasich continually whines that HE Balanced the Budget when he was in Congress, in which year was the Budget Balanced?
