Charisma over Substance. Cruz is no Bush or Romney. And no favorite of the GOPe, pure revisionist history.

of course he is no Bush or Romney, that's not the point. They know that no establishment candidate is going to get enough delegates, so if they can boost Ted here and there, boost Kasich in OH, boost Marco anywhere and use Marco and Ted to destroy Trump's brand while destroying thier own in the process, eureka, we have a brokered convention where Romney or whatever GOPe loser they want gets installed. If you don't see what's going on, you are either in denial, a part of the scheme, or not paying enough attention.

I agree. I’ve been convinced that this is Trumps most important day as it will set the tone for everything to come later. Not only does he have to win but he’s got to win with some margin IMO.

Yup.

No exit polls have been released, just raw numbers.

If Trump loses tonight, you’ll see his front-runner image severely dented.

Not where he wants to be heading into March 15.

Still very early but so far Trump is getting his ass handed to him in KS.

Cruz crushing it in KS with 52% of the vote... Trump a distant 21% with 3% of the vote in.

KS Caucus closes at top of the hour.

if trump loses by ONE vote it will be touted as a “devastating blow”.

MSNBC is only interviewing antitrump old people. People who give the anti-Reagan style jimmy carter talking points.

In 2012, the turnout in Kansas for these caucuses was 29,857.

KS is tailor made for Cruz and he could also win neighboring LA.

I have a feeling the press is going to write about a Cruz Saturday.

Coming off his wins last week in OK and AK, the guy is on a roll.

Odd how the media holds back reports until all polling closes yet Kansas is being reported as if to influence other campaigns.

It’s looking like Romney and the GOP all out blitz had its desired effect.

We should have a projection for Cruz on CNN in KS at the top of the hour.

Still 3% of the vote in... I say with that huge margin, Cruz takes the state.

I hope so - but this is less than 4% of the vote in. WAY TOO early to even guess. Trump has been ahead in all the polls of these states so far. Even Maine and Kansas. A Cruz win in either of these states would be a yuuge upset, and possibly indicative of trump's recent debate and flip flop fiascos. But WAY too early to guess that now.

Usually takes longer to count caucus votes in the larger cities thus they are later to report results.

Which areas of Maine are the ones with all the imported Somalis?

And how are those objecting to the importation learning on their votes?

It’s looking like Romney and the GOP all out blitz had its desired effect.

And why are you Trumpettes surprised. It is a REPUBLICAN party caucus. Don't like the rules....then go form your own Trump party

actually, that is not a lie. Cruz repeatedly defied the Senate leadership in pushing his conservative effort forward.

Trump never had a chance to cause such direct insubordination. Hate might be too strong a term but extreme disgust is a fair assessment of the GOPe with Ted Cruz

If you think otherwise, you just aren’t paying attention
