Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump abruptly canceled his scheduled speech at CPAC Saturday morning as his campaign announced an appearance in Wichita, Kansas the day of that state’s caucus.
Likely factoring into Trump’s decision was a planned protest walkout during his speech at CPAC and the need to have a campaign presence in Kansas.
The organizer of the walkout, William Temple, who parades around CPAC in colonial garb, told BizPacReview he expected one thousand CPAC attendees to participate in the Trump walkout.
Temple organized a similar walkout last year during Jeb Bush’s speech at CPAC that drew around 300 protesters.

I don’t live in fear of banks and corporations like the Sanders and Trump supporters do. I hope Goldman Sachs is as successful as any other American company.
In looking down the list of Cruz policy positions, I still can’t find where he did anything that violated his campaign promises in order to help a specific corporation.
Cruz & Rubio are 3 times worse than Trump.

Walk outs are incredibly juvenile and serve no purpose. You are hurting your own, someone who may be the nominee. This only helps to serve the Dems.
Probably organized by the same Alinskyites that planned to walk out on Trump.

I was there. The auditorium was full to overflowing and the app was sending alerts to move latecomers to other rooms with video piped in.
There was no walkout. There were, however, about 20 Trump supporters trying to interrupt who were escorted out.
The crowd was overwhelmingly in favor of Sen. Cruz.
My daughter got a pic with Sen. Cruz. Too cool.
Trump is an opponent...not an enemy. I think he likes Rubio way down deep...and just looks at him as a young, ignorant politician.

It will be a fun season. And even at the end, on that final evening, when reality thunders down on us, Melania will look elegant at his side during Donald's concession speech.

Bush brought in people to thwart last year’s walkout organized by the same guy. I walked out last year.
I wouldn’t have walked out on Trump. I was interested in hearing from here.
If they bailed over a threatened walkout, then wow, that’s awful thin skinned.

Thanks! Its great to disagree and we all have are own opinions, however lets not scalp each other over who we support. In the end we have to get the white house back with someone that will actually represent the people.
Trump has the most patriotic and common sense plan. No illegals allowed, and brilliant foreign students preferred over low educated and low skilled immigrants

Maybe so, but organizing walkouts is a fools mission, and it has no place where we’re considering candidates for President. EVERYONE deserves respect! And it’s a disgrace how the GOPe and others have acted to splinter the process. The way the Two Cuban Chihuahua’s have been acting at the “food fights,” (aka GOPe Debates) is about as disgraceful a display as I have seen in politics in all my 75 years! And now we have to add in the two loons, Romney and Beck. But the people have seen through this $hit and Trump’s gonna win.
