Chinese Femur Refutes Human Evolution
by Brian Thomas, M.S. *
Evidence for Creation
Textbooks around the world contain the well-known illustration of walking apes transitioning into a modern human. I recently heard a college student, raised in a Christian home, say these pictures convinced her of evolution. She probably represents countless others swayed by this simplistic icon. But those willing to question the concept that man descended from apes can welcome the recent study of a discovery from China. It adds to the list of important finds that refute human evolution and its illustrations.

From the article: "The fake parade shows early apes becoming stooped caveman creatures, and finally modern man. Any of these three cave finds dismantles at least part of the fake parade by jumbling its early man time sequence."
Closest they ever came was Piltdown Man. If you want to review how that turned out, then Google it.

its never as obvious as it looks
Point of order: Evolutionists have never said that men descended from apes. Creationists wrongfully attribute that to Evolutionists. What is asserted is that men and apes share a common ancestry.
Not unlike how Americans are not descended from modern day Europeans but that we share a common ancestry.
I am firmly in the God used evolution camp to get us where we are, but saying we had a common ancestor with apes implies we evolved from something even lower than an ape. A worse concept in my opinion.
If human evolved from apes, there wouldn’t be any apes left, right?
The apes today are the descendants of the lazier primates who did not make the effort to evolve, or something.
Best as I can figure, enough apes “went Galt” to keep the species alive. lol
Do you think Adam was any different than you in form?
Yes. He had no belly button.
“Chinese Femur Refutes Human Evolution”
No, it doesn’t. The New South Wales University article cited in the ICR article speculates an isolated group of surviving primitives is the source of these bones.
Different. Not ‘lower’.
Liberal Americans are descendant from patriotic Americans so it is possible that evolution works both ways.
(-:
I have been a Christian since childhood and I have always believed that evolution was Gods tool that he used to create us. No one ever taught me that, I just came to that belief on my own.
That may be if one bothers to read the canonical writings of evolution.
However, that is not what the ascending up from ape cartoon depicts. And everyone knows, that as between a cartoon like this and the latest Stephen Jay Gould tome, the cartoon is more powerful and will carry the day.
Lol, that’s pretty good.
No, ancient chimps, our closest relatives have a different genetic mutation rate than humans,,,when the gene break occurred, each line went in a different directions.
My grandmother was a biology professor in the 1920s, when the Scopes Trial was in the news.
Both sides of my family held American traditional Christian beliefs.
My family and churches taught me there was no inconsistency with both evolution and creation by a higher power, such as Christian God.
What does this mean?"
What does it mean, indeed!
It means the author has no clue -- zero, zip, nada -- what he's talking about.
Red Deer Cave People:
Recent studies based on a long femur fossil would seem to indicate a close relationship to ancient Humans such as Homo habilis or Homo erectus.[5]"
IOW, they don't really know, just a lot of educated guesses.
Here is a recent illustration of the ancestry & relationships of various pre-humans.
Discoveries such as Red Deer Cave People suggest, possibly, that Homo Erectus survived a little longer in China that this chart suggests.
Is it actually telling us that the pinnacle of human evolution is Kris Kristofferson.
