These new Trump poll numbers should absolutely terrify Republicans [correction: GOPe Pubs]
Washington Post ^ | 2/29/2016 | Greg Sargent

Posted on 02/29/2016 8:52:34 AM PST by catnipman

If Republicans are going to have any hope of stopping the runaway train otherwise known as Donald Trump, it may rest on their ability to limit the breadth of his appeal. A single alternative to Trump — most likely Marco Rubio — could conceivably coalesce enough support among well educated, relatively affluent, more moderate Republicans

Hyperbole suited to the most irrational, emotional, immature, irresponsible, anal, crybaby loser mentality. Certainly those were not your words and you were quoting someone else.

No. Those are YOUR words. My words were “In America 2016 we have a rabid populist generating a mass movement to kill the oligarchy and establish a monarchy under a man which will further a permanent dictatorship in the Executive.”

You may deem them hyperbole of a sore loser ( I frankly can care less who "wins") I see them as history repeating. Nothing new under the sun because human nature does not change.

Personalizing the argument is how Trump folks are skull schlonging themselves. The media attacks on Trump are weak sauce, very little on his mob ties, his crap business history, pro abortion or his pro immigration stands. Look at the man's history: not what he, I, or msnbc’s hysterics tell you.

He inherited $400m (2016 $$) from his daddy, and would have done better in business with mutual funds.

We all want a stick to hit DC with, but He'll hit us far harder than them.

Rubio even said Trump’s small hands meant he had a small penis. Very presidential from Marco Credit Card Fraud Rubio. Has also repeated the lie, with Cruz, over and over and over that Trump’s father gave him 200 million dollars to start his business, which is a bald-faced lie and Trump has said if that big fat lie does not stop he’ll bring a lawsuit against them, which he will. Truth of the matter is Fred Trump loaned his son 1 million and it had to be paid back with interest, which he did.

Whatever. Trump cannot possible hit us as hard as the uniparty has in the past 25 years or so. What have either of the GOP establishment approved candidates down to even slow that down? They both voted for the Corker bill and TPA and Rubio did the gang of 8 thing. Voting for either one is voting for more of the same. I ask again, where are the stories of the GOP establishment freaking out on Cruz or Rubio? Here is a clue, there are none because they are fine with their GOP establishment approved candidates.

Cruz is poling under 15%, not threat to them. Remember, Trump helped McConnell, specifically, to take down Matt Bevin.

Trump is anti liberty, and pro cronyism. People desperately want him to be who he claims to be, but he's not..and never will be.

It’s France in the late 1700’s all over again.

Agree. But whether or not that is a good thing is something upon which a lot of people disagreed even before Trump.

Do you really want to know why some people are “fearful” of Trump? I mean, I’ll tell you openly why I am so you don’t have to invent a conspiracy theory if you what.

Come on, tell the truth, these lies and slurs disgrace the teller.

Trump's father died very recently, his empire was build with seed money of $1M loaned from his father and repaid, not on an inheritance. Trump is a remarkable success story, an American success story. He is giving back to his country. For years we have put up with losers and held our nose. You don't like him..fine..He is still going to put himself out there, take the incoming and fight to

Remove Obamacare

Ensure private insurances can compete across state lines

Improve the cost effectiveness of indigent care

Defund PP

Build the wal

Strengthen and protect our military & vets

Revamp legal immigration, deport illegals

Revisit our trade agreements and make agreements in America's interest

Repeal Common Core and return education to the States & communities

Revamp income tax & corporate tax to return industries, retain industries and build a robust job market

Who else will step up and has the chutzpah to get it done? Not a single person running for President except Trump.

As opposed to people who wanted Rubio and Cruz to be what they claimed and weren’t and never will be? I just want the border secured and illegals dealt with. I believe that Trump will absolutely do that because his name is so attached to that and so many people have made fun of his plans. If he does only that, he will be the most conservative President since Reagan, wether he actually is a conservative or not. If he does even some of the rest of his announced agenda, trade, taxes, etc. he will be great. If he does not, there will be another election in 4years but at least the border will be secure, which I believe will not happen with either of the GOPe approved guys.

They will not accept a loss to the people so the establishment’s plan B will be to orchestrate the vote count so the queen of crime ends up in the WH. What will the good patriots of the US do then?
