Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump disavowed white nationalist and former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke in a tweet Sunday.
"As I stated at the press conference on Friday regarding David Duke- I disavow."
Earlier Sunday morning, Trump avoided a question about whether he'd condemn Duke's racism.
The GOP front-runner said on CNN's "State of the Union" he didn't know anything about Duke and would need to research his connections before deciding whether he would condemn them.
"I have to look at the group. I don't know what group you're talking about," he said. "You wouldn't want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about."
At least Trump has not positively quoted a Fascist leader responsible for 14M deaths. Well except for Mussolini. And when he got called on it he quoted Hillary Clinton “What difference does it make”
“but I dont blame him for not wanting to be dragged into the KKK tar pit.”
That was ambush trail. It was supposed to be a long discussion on the KKK. Then a segue right into how the KKK doesn’t like illegal immigration, and aren’t you and them the same,,,,.
He shut the mental midgets down.
The Cuban *ssh*le crisis
Trump smells a gotcha like Smokey Bear smells Forest Fires, and F Chuck’s effort fell flat. Trump, a good guy, will of course disavow loopy Dukey, but in his own terms and time.
Dallas Texas 2006, during war time, under Republican George Bush.
500,000 illegal aliens march on Dallas Texas pushing foreign flags in our faces and while making demands and threats. All while Bush celebrated Cinco De Mayo up in the White House...During war time.
Bad memory on that fellow. When Donald Trump decided to quit the Reform Party in February 2000, he wrote an op-ed saying that he couldn’t belong to a party that had a Klansman like David Duke as a membef. (He also called Pat Buchanan a “neo-Nazi,” which would be new to the many Buchananites that now support Trump due to his recent Buchananite views on trade, protectionism and immigration.) Even more interesting, Trump apparently rejected David Duke’s endorsement only two days prior to his declaring to Tapper that he was ‘t familiar with David Duke and would have to look up who he was before reacting to his endorsement. http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/robert-schlesinger/articles/2016-02-28/donald-trump-denounced-david-duke-before-he-refused-to-denounce-david-duke Even for a 70-year-old, that’s some pretty bad memory.

So, let me see if I have this straight. On Friday, he disavowed Duke’s endorsement. Then, this morning, he said he couldn’t disavow Duke because he didn’t even know who Duke is, hasn’t met him, etc. Now, this afternoon, he’s back to disavowing him.
How can it be this hard for him to stay on message about a topic so easy (and stupid) as David Duke and the KKK? How hard would it have been for him to answer the question this morning by saying that of course he disavows and condemns idiots like Duke and the KKK?
The KKK was founded by the democrats, Senator Byrd was the founder of the KKK IN WV and was the Grand Kligal of them when he was elected to the Senate.
Cruz lied on Fox about this. Said that Donald was responsible for robo-calls from white supremacists. He knew it wasn’t true, but he lied anyway.
“The Reform Party now includes a Klansman, Mr. Duke, a neo-Nazi, Mr. Buchanan, and a communist, Ms. Fulani,” he said in his statement. “This is not company I wish to keep.” - That’s Trump in 2000.
By the way, Buchanan is still a neo-Nazi, and somehow I don’t see Donald disavowing his endorsement. Or maybe he forgot his name as well.
Duke, Buchanan, Le Pen, Putin... But Trump likes all of them, and they like him back.
Half a million dead in Syria on Obama’s watch and Ted Cruz enabled his secret trade agenda with his month long campaign for TPA. Own it all, FRiend.
Very Trump like of you. Never never answer question always attacking someone else instead. Hilarious.
That should be trumps standard answer the next time a LSM “journalist” throws kkk in his face.
Did Obama disavow the radicals and nuts who backed him? Did he disavow his pastor? The Black Panthers? The Black Muslims? The Communists?
Was he ever asked to?
Typical game they play with Republicans.

Ha ha. No reason to censor that one. Cruz is their boy and now he’s back home shacking up with the GOPe. Let the Cruzies eat it, IMO.
I never knew Buchanan was a neo-Nazi. I don’t think it’s true.
Oh surely it’s true that people have called Pat Buchanan a Nazi.
But then Vincente Fox says Trump sounds like Hitler because he remembers him talking that way (V. Fox was born July 2, 1942), and V. Fox is a known collaborator with bankers for the Medellin Cartel.
So in your mind, you believe Pat Buchanan is a Nazi? And you believe Trump is a reincarnation of Hitler?
Okeeee .......

Our current POTUS started his political career in the living room of an unrepentant terrorist & murderer. That’s a personal relationship right there. OTOH, Trump has nothing to do with these KKK clowns.
“least Trump has not positively quoted a Fascist leader responsible for 14M deaths.”
Tell us about the 14 million dead under Mussolini. You just made that up. The fact is that Mussolini had almost zero interest in or participation in the German mass murder orgy. Italy was basically forced by the Germans into a few atrocities, but that’s it.
He thought Adolph was a clown.
Notice who are attacking from the left that some have accused Trump of doing.
