Just last week, a years-long tradition came to a screeching halt. You want me to put it on Fox News, I asked my wife. No, she replied. Im done with Fox News.
My job is to monitor the mainstream media, which is something that eats up about 14 hours of a day that begins at 6 a.m. when the cable morning shows begin. Lying next to me, my good sport of a wife suffers through about an hour of Morning Joe, whatever they call that left-wing garbage fire on CNN, and the rest. Out of habit, before I head to my desk, without really asking I always ask, You want me to put it on Fox?
Fox News has a problem, and not just with my wife. According to a YouGov Brand Index survey, the perception of Fox News among Republicans has hit a three-year low, has declined by approximately 50% since January of this year.
Basically, perception of Fox News has returned to those bad old Dick Morris days after President Obama won re-election. Much of the fall has come in the last few months. There is no question that this precipitous drop is the result of Foxs ongoing war with Donald Trump.
This might be a good time to tell you that my wife is not a Trump supporter. Her frustrations and disappointment in Fox News have nothing to do with her personal political preference. Like many, it is something much larger than that.

Love him or hate him, Trump is a walking litmus test.
He has been instrumental in getting the skunks on “our side” to out themselves in full daylight.
I gave up on Fox a number of years ago, deciding like the writer here that they are just like the rest. An inch deep, gutless, clueless.
They claimed high ratings from the start because they positioned themselves slightly to the right of the normal left-wing press. Its statistics: the left press split the left half of the country half a dozen ways while Fox had the right half of the country to itself.
But I don’t want a right-leaning press, I just want someone to report the news with as little bias as possible. I can apply the bias myself. That’s my job.
I used to say that Bill O’Reilly was a huge phony: his schtick was to position himself as the sane middle ground between two straw men. I haven’t watched him since Kerry ran for president and Bill attacked the Swift Boat vets in an effort to get Kerry to come on his show. That’s a long time ago now.
Fox’s idea of “fair and balanced” has always been to have a nutball leftist and some vaguely right-leaning dweeb shouting each other down. Please, that’s not worth my time.
I never missed Beck when he was on, he was the only one doing any real reporting. It is thanks to him that we know who Obama is. No one else, and I mean including the rest of Fox, no one else on TV has made any attempt to dig out Obama’s connections and past. When Beck left, I stopped watching Fox altogether. I don’t watch TV news. I find the more I watch, the more access I give to the Noise Machine, the less I know that is true and significant. Conversely the less I watch, the more I know that is, as I say, true and significant.
I figure, especially if you are a regular at FR, we know more than most folks about who our candidates are. Hang on to what you knew about them the day before they announced for president. That’s who they are. Whatever you’ve heard from the Noise Machine since is an effort to change the subject. Fox, sadly, is just another piece of the Noise Machine.
Read books. Check the headlines at FR. Live your life. Tune out the Noise Machine, give them no further access to your head.
Once you quit drinking the ‘Kool-Aid’ and take off the ‘Rose colored glasses’ you get to see really what is happening, quite remarkable isn’t it?
What happened to Meghan Kelly ?
And who is that loud mouth with the greasy bull-Dyke hairdo running her show?
I was done with Faux back in 2012. .having to listen to Rove, Rove, Rove over and over pretending to be an unbiased pundit when it was clear that he was intent on sabotaging any Conservative opposition to Mittens. Patently dishonest coverage at its core.
Since I don’t watch Faux News anymore, have they covered the massive influx of Muslim Rapergees into our towns as documented in the post below?
Click on the report and see if your hometown or a nearby town has accepted Muslim Rapergees:
Were Muslim Refugees Resettled in your Town in 2015?

I have to admit I’m glad Megyn gave up her locks and adopted the bitchy-butch Rachael Maddow look around the time I quit watching her, so there was no hotness lost. And I did catch some of Maddow’s show after the MSNBC debate and found that she was no worse, especially if you just listen to the audio.
It seems like every time I see megan kelly, she looks dykier than the time before.
I refuse to watch Fox.
That Paris meltdown by whoraldo was my last time.
Add Rove and BOR and I am gone.
Just another Main Stream Media outfit.

Having Beck on as a regular Trump basher isn’t good for ratings, either.
Oh! Maybe Cruz? </s>
Litmus test, you say?
Trump on executive orders:
"I won't refuse it. I'm going to do a lot of things," Trump said when asked if he would use executive orders in an interview Sunday on NBC"s "Meet the Press."
I mean, hes led the way, to be honest with you, he added, referring to Obama.
The Republican primary front-runner said his executive orders, unlike the presidents, will be for the right things.
Trump on starting to return federal land to the states:
"That's not good, because you want to keep the land great, and you don't know what the state's going to do with it."
"Are they going to sell it if they get into a little bit of trouble? I don't think it should be sold. This is magnificent land and we have to be great stewards of this land. The hunters and the fisherman and all the different people who use this land." But Im going to use them much better and theyre going to serve a much better purpose than hes done, he said.
Where are you getting that litmus from?
The fact that FOX kept Rove and still roll him out there like he’s suppose to
be some expert is RIDICULOUS!
It will spread to the corrupt talk show hosts, as well.
We know who they are.
..FOX is really no different than MSNBC ...they promote different aspects of the same globalist agenda , tailored to their respective Left/Right audiences ...everyones globalist agenda is being exposed either directly or indirectly by Trump
Megyn is a stunning beauty, it seems it's only skin deep. Her hatred for Trump has sustained itself over the last several months and has certainly helped spell Fox's downfall. Of course, the Fox News debate that Trump bailed on -- that really hurt their bottom line. |
Sweet.
Regardless of ones views ofTrump, Fox has been an utter disaster during this primary season. Longer actually since 2011 or so. It’s been on full display this past year.
Thanks. I called it a bulldyke hairdo from the first night she outed herself and several here on FR poo-pooed me and said it was just STYLISH. Yep, it is; if you’re a bulldyke. JMHO.
