"If he hadn't inherited $200 million, you know where [Donald] Trump would be? Selling watches in Manhattan."
It was Marco Rubio's big moment, the one that was supposed to damage the GOP front-runner. It wasn't a bad line. The zinger illuminated that Trump wasn't self-made. It made him seem like the avatar of New York's worst values--a street hustler from pre-Giuliani Times Square.
Rubio's riposte got a laugh, but that was it. But he administered his blow too quickly, after a dizzying oppo dump of Trumpian facts--bankruptcies, lawsuits against Trump University, hiring illegal workers and so on. Like a hormonal teenager with control issues, Rubio blurted them out so quickly that the fusillade fell flat.

Thank you for your additional comments. I don’t have anything to add.
I see thing different, but at this point I’m not inclined to discuss it further.
I’m turning in.
Aw, man: Carson and Kasich are left out of the fray.
Only VETS can get the permit.
Donald Trump will give Hillary the ghetto beat down. He will say stuff to her face on TV that Teddy would never dream of. Trump will tell her she belongs in prison. He will launch a Twitter campaign and kill her with death by a thousand cuts. Its the only way to win.
THAT.
Thanks for the discussion. I appreciate your courtesy very much.
I’m off to bed as well.
May God bless us both. :)
Yes, Marco got so much of Trump’s biography wrong in that attack.
I support that fully.
Thank you too, and good night.
I cannot imagine hating country enough to actually want Rubio to be President.
I imagine GG2 dropped the mic and walked off the stage with that post. :)
Crazy Glenn was rambling on, when some one listening to him saw Trump enter where they all were and a HUGE scream of TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP went up. The crowd around Glenn all turned around and began running towards Trump.
And after a bit, dear old CRAZY Glenn shuffled off the stage.
Yep, especially since she and I have gone the full 12 rounds more than once.
Your projection complex has grown worse. Please seek help.
Let them. They've already tried and failed, and they'll fail again. Trump doesn't fear the media, and the American People don't fear the media.
Are you really trying to imply that the American People should make their Presidential choice based on fear of what the media will do in their all-out attempt to destroy Trump?
And, unlike the media, who will ignore Hillary's crimes, Donald Trump will consistently remind the American People of them. The Clinton foundation and its criminal foreign influence peddling, intentional use of private email servers to avoid transparency and accountability, coupled with incompetent and criminally negligent handling of classified information on those insecure servers, even the Benghazi fiasco: Hillary will be crushed.
Trump has already pulled the teeth of the lamestream media. Talk about negatives: in the minds of American voters, the lamestream media is viewed even less favorably than politicians.
The harder they attack; the more transparently they are in tank for establishment Hillary; the more it will backfire on them.
Trump-haters really don't get what's happening. It's beyond their ken. There will be a lot of their heads exploding on election night.
Well, Trump is kind of a goofy dancer, so I can see him twirling those advertising signs, a job which requires a strong hunger for attention. :)
One thing’s for sure, I cannot see him dressing up as the Lady Liberty/Statue of Liberty, advertising for some tax-filing company.
I never got why those tax-filing companies use Statue of Liberty mascots to attract attention: The last thing I think about when I need to file my taxes is Lady Liberty.
Anyways, Go Trump!
Trump has the vision, he will put people around him to do the detail work.
Hillary has no substance and she is hated by everyone!
Congress will defund Obamacare and President Trump will sign it.
I suspect you will hiding somewhere when Trump has another great night!
