WHO IS PARTICIPATING IN THE DEBATE? Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas; Ohio Gov. John Kasich; U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and businessman Donald Trump.
WHO IS MODERATING THE DEBATE? Wolf Blitzer of CNN will moderate the debate. Telemundo's Maria Celeste Arrarás, conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt and CNN's Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash will also ask questions of the candidates.
HOW DID THE QUALIFY FOR THE DEBATE? Candidates needed to file a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission, be actively campaigning for the Republican nomination and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have received support from at least 5 percent of those who attended the Republican Iowa caucuses.
- Have received at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the New Hampshire primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the South Carolina primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent support in the Nevada caucuses.

The face-pasting going on here is more amusing, perhaps, than what is going on at the debate.
From one point of view; from another point of view it is just sad.
I cannot believe you think that. If New York has the highest insurance premiums, and everyone in New York is suddenly allowed to buy their insurance from 20 other states with lower costs, the NY companies will go out of business or they will reduce their premiums to stay in business.
As that same pattern happens all over the country, premiums will drop drastically for us all.

Sounds like a load of crap to me. I get emails from Rubio every day begging for money, and I have never signed up for anything from him nor have I ever visited his website. I am on Trump's mailing list and never get asked for donations from him.
Cruz and Rubio are just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. They are going down with the ship, and there isn't anything they can do about it.
