Rush is panicked. If he screws this up, he retires now. This new party is going Trump BIG time. If Rush wants political and professional suicide,he doesn’t come ou STRONG for Trump. He will be exposed as GOPe and his audience drops by 60 %. Think hard Rush. You are very wobbly. We don’t like wobbly. ( ask Beck.)
Rush is right and he he is wrong.
He is right in that compromise with current democrat party is impossible. Hillary/Bernie do not want any compromise to the right of center.
Rush is wrong in that Reagan was not conservative on fiscal matters. On military matters he was very good. He refurbished military devastated by Carter.
But Reagan was actually very bad on fiscal matters. Big government expanded huge, with federal spending taking a giant leap upwards.
FACTS regarding Reagan’s fiscal policies:
1985 Reagan, as president, spent $5-billion to bail out the Continental Bank of Illinois. He also added
$9-billion to the International Monetary Fund so Mexico, Brazil and Argentina could pay the interest on
their big debts to the American banks. At the same time, he would not bail out American farmers.
Reaganâs 4th year budget was $141-billion more than Carterâs 4th year budget. Reaganâs total deficits for 4 years was 4-times the total of Carter 4-year total deficits.
Reagan increased the national debt in 4-years as much as all the presidents from Hoover to Carter did.
Reagan Supported the Brady Gun Bill in a speech at George Washington University in 1991.
In 1992 Reagan supported NAFTA (North American Free Trade Act) As a candidate in 1979 Reagan first talked about a North American accord. In 1992 Reagan made a plea in a Wall Street Journal editorial to, âtear down that trade wallâ.
Rush Blows, alright.
Meet the new RINO.
Same as the old RINO.
Hail Mary “hope we can win Florida” pass.
In California and in Chicago aliens. legal and illegal already have the vote on local issues. In the registrars offices and in Democrat Party counsels they are told to go ahead and vote on whatever else is on the ballot because who is gonna know?
Bookmark, I want to definitely read this, I’ve listened to Rush since he went national.
In any event, Rubio definitely deserves every bit of scrutiny he gets for the Gang of 8 fiasco. Indeed, without that, he’d probably be doing much better. He has no one but himself to blame.
But at precisely the same time, Trump was pushing the GOP to adopt comprehensive immigration reform and said it was needed to help the party - he blasted Romney for taking too hard a line on illegal immigration and blamed that for his loss. Why does Trump get a pass for this? http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/Donald-Trump-Ronald-Kessler/2012/11/26/id/465363/
Thanks Rush
From the Rush link, it shows that Rubio doesn’t want a fence, so he shouldn’t be calling others liars when he appears to be one HIMSELF:
“There’s a Breitbart News story, August 6th of 2015. “Marco Rubio says he wants border fence, visa tracking system, but voted against both to pass the Gang of Eight bill.” And then from the article it says this: “When the Schumer-Rubio bill hit the Senate floor, Sen. John Thune offered an amendment to required the completion of a border fence. Sen. Rubio joined all members of the Gang in voting against Thuneâs amendment, which failed.”
