And now we've closed the circle. And now we're back at why Donald Trump is in the race and why Donald Trump is running away with it. You can get as deep or as shallow in the analysis as you want. But it's about a last chance, a last-gasp effort at preserving the culture that developed after the founding of this country. It's no more complicated than that, folks. The country's under siege from all quarters, and recently the Democrat Party has joined those who have put the country under siege.
Now, in this instance I'm not even talking about anything other than perception right now. Candidates go out and say or do anything, the perception that people have of what they say or do is going to largely determine the reaction. They're not gonna spend time going deep and deep into, "Well, what they really meant was..." They're gonna knee-jerk react because that's how important the issue is. They're not going to take any chances with it.
So if somebody comes along and says, "I'm gonna deport 12 million."
"Fine. I hear you, and I hope to hell you're telling me the truth, because I support you."

Actually, as a forced listener due to the crud I caught, he did do a good job; almost redeemed himself.
It should have ended with “Rush Blows”.
Every election since the last amnesty the GOP had forced on us an amnesty candidate. It was not accidental.
The Democrats represent the illegal aliens
The Republicans represent their employers
No one represents the citizens
Enter Trump
The citizens have been waiting for someone to be on their side.
Do these idiots ever stop and listen to themselves. e-verify, obamaphone, EBT it's all alphabet soup nonsense against the sovereignty of the american people, a conspiracy to hand out free stuff.
The G.O.P. **APPROVED** of the Tea Party Audits.
YOU REMEMBER THAT.
The country’s under siege from all quarters, and recently the Democrat Party has joined those who have put the country under siege.
“Recently”?????? ?
Both parties. For a long time.
This is the problem the DC political class is having. They keep thinking Trump needs to negotiate with them. Just do deals with them and we can all be friends. The American people don't need to do a deal with anyone. You are either a part of "We the People" or you belong drowning in Boston harbor or riding a rail, covered in tar trying to pick feathers out of your nose and eyes and mouth.
In other words, it's not so hard. It just takes the desire.
That was a substantive analysis. Thanks!
Don't mistake a death-rattle for a last-gasp. If we hadn't slaughtered 50,000,000+ natural unborn Americans (tip of the ice berg really) then 12,000,000 wouldn't be so lethal. Besides the Libs don't really need the 12 million because the American kids that survive the abortion/abortifacient holocaust will be turned into flamers by the schools and the culture anyway.
The Math and the Map ... Mark Steyn offers some devastating analysis on why we are doomed no matter how this GOP primary plays out. ...Long term, two things have to happen: America has to restore the integrity of its borders, and conservatism has to get a piece of the action in the schools and the culture. Short term, the GOP has done a grand job of screwing itself out of electoral viability.
I read that piece, and it is more about the math that results from the illegal aliens being allowed to stay. For example, he talks about the children in schools in Arizon and Texas being majority Mexican, which threatens control of those states in the future. Those numbers change if you do actually deport the 20 or 30 million who are here. 12 million was the number they used in the mid 90s. No way it is that low any more.
good post.
I did, the so-called “conservative woman” was an ldiot!
As to the “tarring and feathering” part of your statement, I feel that I must take a more fiscally responsible approach and suggest the repeated use of rope. LOL :)

Trump says they can come back and be citizens.
So how does that address the issue Steyn is writing about?
Rush was on fire. He was speaking my thoughts and so as many others that truly care about the country.
It will be interesting to see how things play out.
