So Donald Trump while trying to get the GOP nomination will take the beautiful witness stand at in the very near future in his own fraud trial. Gotta love it. Let's say he actually gets the nomination and the other Democrat, Hillary Clinton, gets hers. We'd have one candidate running while on trial for fraud and another under FBI investigation.
What a country.
Here are some details:
In court filings last Friday, lawyers for both sides in a long-running civil lawsuit over the now defunct Trump University named Trump on their witness lists. That makes it all but certain that the reality-show star and international businessman will be forced to be grilled under oath over allegations in the lawsuit that he engaged in deceptive trade practices and scammed thousands of students who enrolled in his "university" courses in response to promises he would make them rich in the real estate market.
Although the case has been winding its way through the courts for the past five years -- and Trump has denied all wrongdoing -- the final pretrial conference is now slated for May 6, according to the latest pleadings in the case. No trial date has been set, but the judge has indicated his interest in moving the case forward, the pleadings show.

For the Trump supporters, Cruz serves the same purpose as George W. Bush did for Obama. It was all Bush’s fault and with the Trumpites, it’s all Cruz’s fault.

You think Cruz’s undecided NBC eligibility status is frivolous? Think again.

Some of those “witnesses” claim it was worth their money. This is a fishing expedition by lawyers, the kind Levin calls “slip and fall”.
Either that or you just don't care about the truth in reality land because you prefer the "truth" of in-my-head-fantasy-land.
You're willing to give the thing to another known America/Constitution/Freedom hater because you feel (that's different than actual thinking) that this person might be even worse than the known evil that is the other choice.
I guess you can sorta have a clear conscience if you win (by helping the other side wing and the People lose) because you never end up with proof that that what your feelings felt is wrong - can't prove someone would be worse w/o trying that person, but that's not what you folks are all about - you like to lose because then the anger overrides the disappointment. It doesn't matter who our side seats - even Cruz would end up disappointing so many because reality would set in and with opposition from both sides, he couldn't undo nearly as much as was done - so the circle goes back to the beginning where we might as well not show up - and we call that 'fighting to win"
