Monday on the campaign trail in Reno, NV, Republican presidential candidate
said if his opponent Donald Trump becomes the nominee, the GOP cannot win in November, because half of the Republican Party “hates” him.
Rubio said, “We can’t win if we nominate someone, if we nominate someone that half of the Republican Party hates. We are going to be fighting against each other all the way to November. I don’t care how much you may think they’re funny or how interesting they may sound. If we nominate someone that 40 to 50 percent of our party can’t stand, we are going to lose.”

Not seeing much difference between you and Charlie Crist except the tan.
With all the GOPe endorsements you are picking up, has Chuck Schumer endorsed you yet?
How about Rubio who 2/3rds can’t stand?
You mean, such as yourself, there Boobio? Go ahead Mr. Establishment jackboot licking statist piece of trash. You'll find we ain't putting you in office.
There’s no way I am voting for Rubio, a complete GOP hack. Is his comment about his own self awareness?
“Trumps does have very high unfavorables. “
So does Hillary. They are pretty much a wash.
The biggest mistake Ronald Reagan made was to go along with the GOP’s demands to make George H. W. Bush his running mate. I don’t believe Trump will duplicate that mistake and take GOPe/amnesty loving Rubio as his running mate.
Using rubio’s argument, he should not be selected.
I doubt if it’s Rubio or anyone else whom the establishment doesn’t hate as the VP choice, that it will be anyone but Trump making the decision.
80% of the party hates you Rubio, you amnesty pimp scumbag.
It's too early for strong drink my friend.
The youth may embrace populism from trump, but they will never even hear a message that the orator does not understand.
I don't post this to slam you or trump. He gets money. He gets populist anger. He gets big talk. Even I can understand and appreciate that.
The constitution? He's pretty much clueless. He knows enough about governmental dysfunction to rally his troops but he is ignorant of how it should function.
If you are looking for someone who can speak about governmental dysfunction in detail and who actually knows the constitution there is a candidate that fits the bill.
Because he "hates his job".
This guy, perhaps even more than "Obama", has strong Manchurian Candidate potential.
There's NOTHING about him, his "career", his "achievements", and certainly his campaign that would suggest to any normal person that he is qualified to be President of the United States.
In fact, it's laugh-out-loud ridiculous.
Except...
We're lately picking candidates like we cast actors, and the media-consultant-pollster-donor quadrumvirate wants to, and feels entitled to, do the picking.
And they've already cast little Marco into the "New (but better, because brown) JFK".
That's not true.
Or better, you'd better hope it's not true, because 69 and 65 million Americans voted for "Obama", and you can't turn out 66 million Republicans.
In fact, millions of Democrats voted for Ronald Reagan, twice, and no Republican nominee since then has inspired anything but (well-justified) loathing among those Americans.
It's time to roll the dice.
This is from the traitor who campaigned for the Senate as anti-Amnesty and then immediately betrayed his voters and led the Gang of Eight. Did Rubio really miss the irony in his comment?
paging Mark Foley...
If Trump and Cruz made up and went as a ticket it would garner a huge turnout for them. Rube gets you the GOPE party trash vote and a few hispanics.
It saddens me to say it but I think Cruz is fatally flawed now.

He says “we” like he’s part of America.
I’m not buying it.
