Ted Cruz couldn't resist an attack by name on Trump in his speech. Trump gave him and Rubio gracious congratulations for their campaigns. Rubio took high ground and was collegial to Trump and Jeb.
Cruz sure does attack a lot for a guy that says I won't attack my competition....
I go to confession frequently. Trump has never asked forgiveness. That is the difference. Wake up before it’s too late!
“Yes, we are all sinners. But...”
Actually, your first sentence is the one that matters.
OK
Still deflecting.
So you are omniscient? Don't be simple and don't tell me he told some newsy that after being asked a JO question. Do a bit of growing up.
Apparently saying you’ve been attacked by Trump when you’ve been attacked by Trump is an attack on Trump.
“I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I don’t cheat, I don’t sin, and I don’t commit adultery. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.”
Good for you!
You bet the first part matters. But the rest does, too. Our Founders always thought we would be a just and moral people — and they wanted us to prefer Christians to be their leaders. Ted Cruz has a Christian testimony and can tell how God has worked in his life.
Donald Trump has indicated that he really doesn’t seek much forgiveness from God. That shows how little he knows himself. I can’t recall other presidents whom I considered Christians (Reagan, Bush) EVER talking down to people the way Trump does with Fiona, Kelly or Carson. Most Christians would have a sense of moral failure for dumping two wives for mistresses, but not Trump. He is a man of low moral character — and if people think he would make a fine leader, that’s fine. I disagree. He reminds me of that moral degenerate and scheming politician — Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Nice try — to compare someone to a Pharisee while you defend a man who in ways acts like a Pharisee. It is unreal to see a man so out of it that he says he doesn’t ask much for forgiveness or need much forgiveness. That’s the guy that sounds like a Pharisee.
And if you think moral character doesn’t matter, just because we’re all sinners you’re very wrong.
Business Insider = a pack of retards. No wonder he gave them that answer. Look up Henry moron Blodget. He’s the idiot who had everyone buying the tech crash of 2000. Then there’s Joe Weaselthal. Trump doesn’t suffer complete idiots gladly.
Cruz will do no better in the the rest of the South. 74% of the voters were evangelicals and Trump got more than he did and evangelicals are all over the South. He’s already told the world his plan of attack, lie about Trump. It didn’t work in South Carolina and it won’t work anywhere else. Stick a fork in Cruz. He’s done.
What a dipsh*t. Greasy, sneaky dipsh*t. Evangelicals saw right through him and he’s in denial.
Continue proving the point that trumpbots find it more important to flip everyone the bird than being concerned with a lifesaving conservative fix for our dear countries decades of abuse.
I do not like professional liars. And nobody knows where flip flopping teddy bear Ted stands a any particular issue, eh.
For some reason that does not inspire my confidence.
Put your big boy pants on and get over it. Weeks of constant lies by Rump and Rubio about Cruz finally took their toll. “Liar, liar, nasty, liar, unfit, cheater, crooked” and I am sure a ton other I missed out on.
Not at all. Pastor Ted has run a lousy campaign that has not expanded his base 1%.
