Is Donald Trump in trouble? After facing hostile questions from Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski Wednesday night--they comprehensively laid out his flip-flops, presented him with damning videotape, and asked him to explain the inconsistencies in detail--Trump was confronted by hostile audience members at MSNBC's televised town-hall forum. When a Muslim questioner got up to ask why he had said such bigoted things about minorities, Trump seemed to struggle while Scarborough forced him to respond. The candidate looked uncomfortable, unhappy, and somewhat lost. It could be a turning point.
If only. Of course, none of this actually occurred Wednesday night, just like it hasn't occurred once this entire campaign season. Instead, Scarborough and Brzezinski hosted what appeared to be a rehearsed and "safe" town hall, in which American voters asked the candidate such hard-hitting questions as "Why did you decide to run for president?" and "how will you set yourself apart" from other Republicans? It was completely worthless television, except in one sense: The program highlighted the many ways in which the media's coverage of Trump has been soft, insufficient, and without substance.

” the media is treating Trump with kid gloves.”
They don’t want to be on the receiving end of a Trump counter-punch.
TTTT !
Thank goodness no such accusation could ever be leveled at our candidate!
Actually Scarborough might accurately be described in much uglier terms and, to me, Mika's politics are at least as dangerous as her association with whoremongers like Spitzer, stolen valor scum like Blumenthal, etc., etc.
Because is a thousand times more capable than others including Cruz.
Even a brilliant Cruz never had to deal with making tens of thousands employed in a bad economy and thriving.
You have to live Trumps experience, you can’t be just intelligent and catch up to a juggernaut like Trump.
“Didnât even get past the first paragraph did you?”
Sadly most freepers don’t get much past the headlines in most posts.
Just like the media covers Obammy, Clinton, Sanders, and democrats in general.
Cruz will make a ad of Trump confusing himself with Bernie!
Another turning point. Heavens, Donald Trump has now lost the MSNBC’s entire audience...all six of them!
Well Bless Your Heart. Why would we want to join you in Hell. It’s bad enough that we have to put up with you here.
Oh, and I could care less if you have a nice day. In fact, I actively hope you don’t.
They tried to take him out by all conventional means and found he controlled his own outcomes, not them.
This is unique among anyone in politics in modern times.
I loved Trumps answer to Obama.
Paraphrasing, “President Obama may be the worst President of all time and he should be grateful it was Romney and not me he faced last election because I would have won and Obama would never have gotten a second term”.
Poor MNJonnie, he sucks so bad that he can never post anything of any relevance except bile laced tirades with nothing of any truth about his candidate.
Lol- - of course, I was being facetious when I stated 'close friends in prostitution rings' but it wouldn't surprise me with this liberal slug Mika.
:0)
lol Maybe trump can sue slate and/or the moderators next
No more “Mr. Nice Guy”!
Nonsense. Trump has been under assault, from more sides, for eight solid months. I’ve never seen anything like it. Even Rush admitted it.
His own party has attacked him, his supposedly friendly Fox TV network has attacked him, the main rag supposedly on his side has published a special issue attacking him.
So you can just drop this silly line that “oh, Trump will REALLY be attacked later.” Just nonsense.
Mark Levin? Really? Why would Trump go on Mr. “I haven’t made an endorsement yet” show? Levin is now just as bad as Beck.
