Ping.
Meh, it’s probably legal, so these libs are wasting their time and effort.
Still a disgusting campaign tactic for Ted “Creflo Dollar” Cruz to mail out fake checks.
'Nuff said.
now we’re quoting self admitted liberals to make our case? Well, why not....when you support one....it makes sense.
I’m thinking it may be illegal because they turned it into a mailing list AND gave a made up grade which was NOT part of the public record.
A Liberal political action group will file endless garbage lawsuits against Conservative candidates and generate much hype and heat in the Establishment media, then quietly drop them after Election day. This is a tactics I have see the Democrat machine use in politics for decades. It is a useless noise and utterly irreverent.
Poor widdle snowflakes need protection from mean old liar Cruz; wonder what they would do if they received a mailing from Publisher’s Clearinghouse or a local car dealer? Commit suicide???

Oops...guess I should have read the article first. This was about the check enclosed fiasco.
I'll wait and see how this turns out, since this organization is known state wide as operating by spreading "lies" and "half truths" as most Liberal/Progressive/Socialist/Marxist organizations do.
Who else gets Social Security checks made out to "Cruz for President"?
According to the article, Texas law requires that a non-negotiable check must print a warning to make clear the check is non-negotiable - - certain words of a certain large size and type.
Cruz sent out a non-negotiable check without the required warning, apparently violating the law.
Either these are facts or they are not facts.
It is illogical to “refute” the facts by citing who brought the facts to the attention of the authorities, or by disputing the wisdom of the law.
A proper argument would be: Cruz appears to have violated the law but Cruz violating the law is not significant because [fill in your reason for why Cruz violating the law is not significant].
Did you even see one of those “checks”? There was absolutely, positively no way for any sane person to think that was a real check. Why is it disgusting for Cruz to try to raise funds? After all, his competition is a very wealthy multi-billionaire. Should that be the criteria for who we support, how much money they have? This week it’s Trump, next week it’s Bloomberg, after that comes Soros.
This is plain harassment, cause...Trump...
How did you pull that off?
They told me 3 yrs ago I could only do direct deposit.
Let us know if the "Pay to the order of" line says "Cruz for President" or "Sanders for President" or anything like that. Inquiring minds want to know if the new Social Security checks look like a fund-raising brochure.
No, but according to more than a few on FR, it makes you a leach on society and those still working.
I believe you to be right....I may just have to walk backwards every time I cash a check.....ooo I forgot it is a direct deposit .....and I am ready to spend it.....thanks to those folks that are working sooooooooooo hard to pay this to me...I may drive to Colorado to see how it spends there if ya know what I mean...wink...wink
