I’m glad it roils that waters so much in Trumplandia. I’ll keep linking to it.

Ah, but you all told me that before Iowa, too. Remember?

When I saw that Cruz was dividing voters into “believers” and “non-believers,” I thought, “Uh oh.” He finally went there. I know that was where his heart was, but I didn’t think he’d say it.

Of course, the next question is, “who is a believer? A Quaker? A Unitarian? A Seventh-Day Adventist? A Christian Scientist? A Mormon?” Then you finally get to an Anglican, a Catholic, a Jew . . . .

Your spamming that ground game link is hilarious. You think spreading the word that Cruz’s sleazy Super PACs are hiring door knockers for Pastor Ted helps you candidate? I’d keep that info on the down low, FRiend. LOL.

“Then conservatism is dead.”

Conservatism is NOT dead!

After all, so many of us still remember how the heroic conservative Republican-led Congress stood up to Obama and stopped his agenda by passing a budget that eviscerated his illegal immigration policies, eliminated the energy-destroying EPA, eliminated the Marxist propaganda Education Department, eliminated the job-destroying Labor Department, eliminated the racist Civil Rights Commission, defunded the FCC until they give back control of the Internet to private industry, defunded Obamacare, defunded enforcement of 99% of Obama”s regulations and Executive Orders. It was a great day for America when that happened, when conservative Republicans stopped Obama’s agenda cold.

Given all of these amazing accomplishments by the conservative Republican party, it’s no wonder that the only thing that Freepers and rank-and-file Republicans everywhere care about is getting some more of them elected so that they can continue applying their conservative Republican principles to such good effect.

A believer is anybody who supports Pastor Ted. That’s a big tent that includes everybody from Goldman Sachs to Glenn Beck. LOL.

I have a variety of articles on Ted Cruz saying that he was unliked well before he announced his run for the Presidency.

Let me point out that Cruz is also the candidate who likes to call his opponents a liar.

it is treated as a very important word in Cruz’ lexicon.

Ted went there. For someone who is supposed to be so smart, Ted sure keeps digging the hole deeper. This was rather predictable after Iowa. Ted went all in to win Iowa with the evangelical vote, which made it hard for him to expand his base of support. Then the tricks with Carson hurt him even more. I suppose you could say that the most religious candidate sold his soul to the devil to win Iowa and he’s paying big time for it now.

My favorite? Whoever can (and will) beat Hillary.

I think we need to be thinking about who can beat a Biden/Warren ticket.

I don't see Obama risking a Clinton presidency, or for that matter, a Sanders presidency. Assuming Obama wants to retain power and control of the Democrat party, his best move is to allow Clinton to win the nomination, then indict her before the election.

With no time for another primary or nominating campaign, Biden/Warren could be drafted. The GOP would have to pivot and change tactics. We may laugh at old Joe, but he is an experienced political campaigner with substantial support. I think he would wipe the floor with any current potential GOP candidate except (Maybe) Trump.

2016 is going to be a very interesting year.

“I’m glad it roils that waters so much in Trumplandia. I’ll keep linking to it.”

That’s the spirit! Do everything in your power to try to irritate the people you pretend like you are trying to convince. Pretty much like your master, Cruz himself.

Glad you’ve finally admitted your sole purpose here is to try to irritate people. After all, it’s what trolls do.

As a democracy who we are and what we become are determined by simple math, 50+1= winner.

The single most important issue in this election is demographics. Unless we address the open border which is creating permanent generations of Dem voters and sway some Dem leaning voters by persuading them we have solutions to the job losses caused by these corporate welfare trade deals NAFTA and TPP, the Republic is done. All this he said she said drama, is irrelevant.

Ever issue from 2nd amend, abortion, Obamacare, marriage, etc. are secondary, because they are dependent on 50+1.

We have no idea what Trump will do as Prez., but we do know what Clinton, Bush, Rubio, Kasich, and and even Cruz will do, more of the same. Either fast forward or slow creep toward total collectivism. Collectivism devours, it is never satisfied, always needs enemies and heroic Dem politicians to right imagined wrongs.

Trump has made the strongest statements on the single most important issues, ones that directly address demographics, will he follow though, who knows, but the outcome of the rest is known. End of the Republic.

When the autopsy is done on Ted Cruz’s failed run for the WH, one key mistake will stand out, and it is that Ted shifted his positioning from that of the tough-as-nails champion defender of the Constitution, to a too-slick-by-half, slippery lawyer, with the aura of a creepy televangelist.

Ted was almost irresistible as a candidate when he first announced. He had just the right tone and confidence. As long as he had no competition, and no one was challenging him on anything, he appeared to be practically ideal. Many of us projected virtues and qualifications onto him that he doesn’t, in fact, possess.

I think Ted would have maintained that marketing illusion, had he been strong enough to resist the urge to ‘improve’ his brand. By choosing to change his skin in order to please a perceived voter block, he wound up locking in a public image that he now finds hurtful to his chances.

Looks like Cruz’s lying has caught up with him. This is in the South where Cruz is suppose to be strong.

I hadn’t stopped to think about it, but, as a person, I think I like Dr Carson better than anyone else in the race. He’s not my choice for President, though.

I too like Dr. Carson the best. When allowed to speak he is his own man. However, and very unfortunately, his quiet mild manner is his biggest handicap.
