Stephen Fry has been widely accused of misogyny after he described costume designer Jenny Beavan as dressing like a âbag ladyâ during Sunday night's Baftas award show.
It's the type of comment that Twitter equality crusaders love to jump on; Fry duly quit the social network (again) after receiving a barrage of abuse. But it's not the first time he has faced the accusation of misogyny. In 2010, the broadcaster said that women donât enjoy sex and only agree to it because it âis the price they are willing to pay for a relationship with a manâ. He later admitted that the comment was âoffensive, ignorant [and] arrogantâ.

No it doesn't.
How much is this going to cost the taxpayers?
I think they have a pretty long list of problems they need to address.....being homosexual would be near the top.
Yup.
Remembering Stephen Fry as a nude Mycroft Holmes. One of many images I wish I could wipe from my brain.
Haha! Like requiring women to register for the draft, liberal “logic” once again implodes!
Clicked on the link to see if there was a picture of the bag lady. All I have to say is people wearing green velvet tuxes shouldn’t throw stones...
This is by far the most important issue facing America and the world. The presidential candidates better have a good (and correct) policy position to combat gay misogyny. And if they dare say one bad thing about gays or women they should be warned - - you will be outed as a hater.
Their agenda needs to be rolled way back and let people who do not engage in such perverted acts get on with our lives and let children not be manipulated by these people.
There's plenty of hatred towards women in the gay community. This is not a sample of it.
They have bigger problems than that.
They’ve never solved a problem.

Closer to correct than wrong....
An old saying:
Men go along with the commitment to get sex.
Women go along with sex to get the commitment.
No idea of who Stephen Fry is. Why should I care?
Go make me a sammitch...and press my tutu.
Misogyny is an awfully big word for a girl
The ‘gay’ ‘community’ needs to quit committing buggery.
