Trump Becomes UNHINGED, Issues 9-Paragraph Statement on 'Unstable' 'Liar' Ted Cruz
Polistick ^ | February 15, 2016 | Greg Campbell

Posted on 02/15/2016 9:08:22 PM PST by SoConPubbie

It seems clear that the Republican presidential primary has taken a turn for the bizarre when Donald Trump has the gall to call another competitor "unstable."

Donald Trump has undeniably changed the national conversation surrounding this election. A frontrunner from the jump, Trump has unapologetically bashed political correctness and has stirred the pot that, quite frankly, desperately needed stirring.

His bomb-throwing antics and jabs have entertained and inserted some chaos into the controlled devolution of the GOP. But has he now gone too far?

In truth, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump should be fighting side-by-side. Both contenders despise the raw deal that Americans have been receiving from politicians for decades; the difference, however, is that Cruz has sought to demolish the "Washington Cartel" from the inside while Trump lobs bombs from the outside.

Last week, during the GOP debate, Trump lashed-out at virtually everyone in his presence. The audience, the media and his fellow candidates all received his snark. He took a jab at Sen. Cruz, blasting him as a "liar."

Establishment candidate Marco Rubio was happy to pile-on.

Now, Trump has elevated his tantrum to another level, releasing a statement calling Cruz "unstable" and threatening a series of lawsuits against the man who continually threatens the bombastic billionaire's campaign prospects.

The release is scathing, calling Cruz "unstable" and a "liar" and even calls into question Cruz's Christian beliefs. His entire nine-paragraph diatribe is as follows:

Ted Cruz is a totally unstable individual. He is the single biggest liar I've ever come across, in politics or otherwise, and I have seen some of the best of them. His statements are totally untrue and completely outrageous. It is hard to believe a person who proclaims to be a Christian could be so dishonest and lie so much.

Cruz said I would be appointing a liberal judge when in fact I will appoint a great conservative and I am the only candidate who has gone so far, at the debate, as to suggest two individuals I feel would best represent the conservative values we need to protect: William "Bill" Pryor Jr. and Diane Sykes.

Cruz says I am pro-choice, when in fact I am staunchly pro-life and have been for a long time. Like Ronald Reagan, on many issues, I have evolved.

Cruz says I am in favor of ObamaCare, when in fact I have spoken about repealing and replacing this disaster of a system at every speech throughout my campaign and since it's inception. Meanwhile, Cruz was responsible for getting Bush to put in the judge that failed to vote against ObamaCare twice.

Cruz says I will try to take away your second amendment rights, when I am one of the strongest proponents of the right to bear arms and I say so in every speech that I have made for years. I am a proud member of the NRA and so are my sons.

Cruz has become unhinged and is lying with the hopes that his statements will go unchecked until after the election and he will save his failing campaign.

In Iowa, Cruz told thousands of Ben Carson voters that Dr. Carson had left the race and to instead vote for Ted Cruz. He apologized when the race was over. Likewise, his fraudulent voter violation form sent to Iowa voters. If Ted is going to continue to lie with such desperation, I have no choice but to fight back.

One of the ways I can fight back is to bring a lawsuit against him relative to the fact that he was born in Canada and therefore cannot be President. If he doesn't take down his false ads and retract his lies, I will do so immediately. Additionally, the RNC should intervene and if they don't they are in default of their pledge to me.

I am the strongest on the borders and I will build a wall, and it will be a real wall. I am strongest on illegal immigration, strongest on ISIS, strongest on the military and I will take care of our Vets. I will end common core and preserve the second amendment. I will renegotiate our trade deals and bring our jobs back to our country. I am the only person who will Make America Great Again.

To be sure, Ted Cruz is in it to win it. The man is pulling no punches and, yes, trying every trick in the book (and making up a few as he goes along) to gain a competitive edge. He's bending all the rules while breaking none of them.

In short: he is being exactly the kind of elbow-throwing leader America could use in the White House.

Trump's apparent hatred for Cruz manifested, not-so-coincidentally, around the same time Cruz continued in his climb in the polls to challenge him in the weeks before Iowa. After Cruz defeated Trump in Iowa, the billionaire became nothing short of unhinged.

He launched attack after attack upon Cruz, called into question his ethics and principles and Christian faith and threatened lawsuits and even resumed his birther nonsense with a vigor.

In reality, Trump's anger towards Cruz and his campaign is nothing short of fear and a projection of his own competitive nature.

Now, Trump, the most-negative presidential candidate in the last half-century has the gall to threaten a lawsuit if Cruz continues to launch "negative attacks" upon candidates?

Trump, the man who has launched a campaign of vicious smears at anyone who has dared to come close to him in the polls, is calling Cruz a "nasty guy"?

Trump, the man who routinely blasts career politicians, now claims that it is telling of Cruz's supposed faults that these same establishment sell-outs in the Senate don't like him?

My advice to Ted Cruz: keep doing what you're doing; you're living in The Donald's head rent-free and the only thing that can destroy Trump at this stage is himself and his own unhinged antics.

My advice to Donald Trump: grow up. You got outplayed in Iowa and you should accept it. And while you're at it, stop with the birther nonsense; it comes-off as petty and unbecoming.

Trump is bankrupting the cottage industry conservative punditry bloggers.

With full serving of Trump you don’t them.

Trump isn’t unhinged. Im sure he does this in his business circle and they still remain friends and dealmakers.

Cruz is hanging out with Glenn Beck who said Jeb was filled with honor. Beck, a guy who lets Occupy thugs beat up his wife because Beck is a Jesus like figure who was getting crucified in Beck’s mind.

Fight Back

Much as it pays to emphasize the positive, there are times when the only choice is confrontation. In most cases I’m very easy to get along with. I’m very good to people who are good to me. But when people treat me badly or unfairly or try to take advantage of me, my general attitude, all my life, has been to fight back very hard. The risk is that you’ll make a bad situation worse, and I certainly don’t recommend this approach to everyone. But my experience is that if you’re fighting for something you believe in— even if it means alienating some people along the way— things usually work out for the best in the end.

When the city unfairly denied me, on Trump Tower, the standard tax break every developer had been getting, I fought them in six different courts. It cost me a lot of money, I was considered highly likely to lose, and people told me it was a no-win situation politically. I would have considered it worth the effort regardless of the outcome. In this case, I won— which made it even better.

When Holiday Inns, once my partners at the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, ran a casino that consistently performed among the bottom 50 percent of casinos in town, I fought them very hard and they finally sold out their share to me. Then I began to think about trying to take over the Holiday Inns company altogether.

Even if I never went on the offensive, there are a lot of people gunning for me now. One of the problems when you become successful is that jealousy and envy inevitably follow. There are people— I categorize them as life’s losers— who get their sense of accomplishment and achievement from trying to stop others. As far as I’m concerned, if they had any real ability they wouldn’t be fighting me, they’d be doing something constructive themselves.

but in poll averages, he loses to hillary while cruz wins.

average of last three, fox, quinippac and NBC found on realclearpolitics.com

would be thrilled to see him beating her regularly in polls.

the polls were pretty accurate with the primaries so there’s no real basis to think the’re that far off.

i know, the election is far away.

1. Trump praised Planned Parenthood as recently as Saturday night’s debate, saying they do good work. Cruz pressed him on that, and he doubled down on it. Also, Trump has donated significant amounts of money to Harry Reid, John Kerry, Upchuck Schumer, Hillary, and other pro-abort politicians.

2. Trump says everyone will be covered, and “the government’s going to pay for it.”

3. Trump told Russert that he was pro-choice in all circumstances, including partial-birth abortion. It’s on video.

4. See #2. In the first debate, Trump said that socialized medicine “works incredibly well in Canada and Scotland.”

5. Yes, he did. Direct quote. He said it works well there.

6. Again, that’s another direct quote from The Don.

7. He has said this repeatedly.

So who’s lying? It certainly isn’t Cruz.

You are EXACTLY RIGHT. Trump is mentally unstable. You behaves like a petulant five-year-old. Obama is an evil force upon America, but at least this evil man acts somewhat stable compared to Trump. What presidential candidates run around calling women ugly and bimbos or say one of their competitors resembles a child molester? ONLY DONALD TRUMP, the man who — jokingly, ha, ha, ha — said he could shoot a man and still win the nomination. WHO IN THE BLUE BLAZES THINK THAT STUPIDLY?

Ted is talking about the issues, and he’s not making up anything, unless you consider quoting a man’s statements and exposing his record to be “making stuff up.”
